INSTRUCTION MANUAL

A1D1-X is an ON Delay Timer.


On Power application preset timing starts and at
the end of the timing 2C/O relay contacts
changes over and remain in this state till the
power is interrupted.

Special instruction for CE marked product :


1) Ensure specified operating voltage is applied to the product as per
Product Specification.
2) Ensure connected LOAD doesnot exceed the specified contact rating of
the product. (Refer Product Specification).
3) Use 2.5mm2 wire with Fork type Terminal Ends (Insulated with metal
re-inforcement) to connect Load terminals (15-16,18 & 25-26,28) and
source terminals (A1 & A2).
4) Wrong use and application of wires not only shorten their lives but may
also cause a serious accident.
5) To prevent Fire and Electric Shock use UL and/or CSA approved wires.
6) After connecting the Source and Load connections place protective
cover on terminal block and ensure perfect locking such that, protective
cover shall not fall due to vibrations.

DISPOSITION

PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTION :
 Select the range with the help of 2
slide switches on the side panel. The
selected range can be seen in the
windows on the front panel.
 Set the required time by gently
rotating the Front pot with suitable
screw driver.
 Apply rated voltage across A1 and
A2 terminals.
 The LED glows and the time starts.
 After the set time the LED goes off
and relay contact changes from NC
to NO.
 Relay contacts remains in same
position, till power is interrupted.

7) Ensure Live Parts are not accessible after placing the protective cover.
8) Mount the product on DINRAIL and ensure the Spacing of 10mm
minimum between product to product.
9) During time setting and range selection ensure power is removed for
both source and load terminals.
10) Do not open the product at any instance since no user serviceable
parts inside.

CAUTION
 Do not change the time range & set time while the timer is in
operation.
 Switch off the power while changing the time range and set
time.
 Application of voltage other than the specified one will
permanently damage the timer.
 Do not forcibly rotate the pot. It will damage the timer.

HINTS ON CORRECT USAGE

Once the product life is over,


you may send back the unit to
EAPL for disposition.
TROUBLE ANALYSIS
 Unit not working.
Check power supply
(Rated supply should be
applied).
