Purpose
Prerequisites
Once approved, this document supersedes all other work practices when applicable. For points not
covered in this document, the respective work practice(s) still apply.
All personnel are familiar with the reason for this procedure.
Discuss and arrange with Froth PUS to ensure Froth Operators are available for Fire Watch in their unit
during job and Froth PTL is well informed.
Follow requirements of SCWP0008 Confined Space Entry Work Practice for assessment of space and
requirements for monitoring.
HSSE Requirements
Maintenance, Operations and Contractor Personnel understand the restrictions of this procedure.

Note: During step 2.3, if the header pressure falls too low, the main electric FW pump (541-PU-043)
may start. In this case, restart the main jockey pump (541-PU-042B), open its discharge valve, shut
off the temporary jockey pump and reset the main electric pump (541-PU-043).
If the header pressure goes too high (>1000 kPa), then restart the main jockey pump, open its
discharge valve, and shut off the temporary jockey pump.
In either of these two cases, consult with PS and Engineer before proceeding with the rest of this
procedure.

Note: If a large component of the pump is deemed to be left behind inside the wet well, the
diver may be asked to go back into the wet well, search for it and to retrieve. In this case,
repeat tasks 1, 2, 3 and 4 until all large pump components are accounted for.
