The bar chart illustrates the total number of boys and girls who were engaged with

six different games (tennis, badminton, cycling, swimming, football and hokey) in
a British town in 2012.
Overall, total number of boys who played games were much higher than the
number of girls who were engaged with. Most popular game of the boys was the
football and swimming was the most favorite of girls while hokey was the lowest
choice of both girls and boys.
Four sports were most popular among the males, while two were girls. In terms of
football, almost 60 boys were played the game and it was 3 times higher than the
amount of girls. Both tennis and cycling were preferred by boys than girls, which
was about 50 and 35 for boys and 35 and 20 for girls respectively. Hokey was
played by 15 males and it was slightly higher than the females ( approximately 8).
Apart from this badminton and swimming were the best choice of girls. The
figure for badminton and swimming was 40 and 50 for females respectively and it
was much higher amount with compared to the males (30 and 40 respectively )
