1) hydrazine Dosing Device
The device is used for the preparation and dosing of hydrazine solution.
There are 1 inject points, Inject point to condensate water inlet. The
device is equipped with a control box for the operation and display of
operational status of all the electric sub-devices.
2) Phosphate Dosing Device
The device is used for the preparation and dosing of phosphate solution.
There are 1 inject points, Inject point to condensate water inlet. The device
is equipped with a control box for the operation and display of operational
status of all the electric sub-devices.

6 Structure Introduction and Function Description


6.1 Structure Introduction
Hydrazine Dosing Device and Phosphate Dosing Device, are composed of
the major equipment mentioned above, necessary valves, pipes, pipe
fittings and structural parts, etc. Each of them is assembled as a packed
dosing system by which functions as a whole to perform the solution
preparation and dosing as required. The whole device is controlled by an
electrical control cabinet installed on each of them. This control cabinet
handles the operation of equipment, operation status display.
6.2 System Function Description
6.2.1 Work Process description
1) Hydrazine Dosing Device: There are 1 stainless steel tanks used for the
hydrazine solution preparation and storage, and a metering pump dosing unit
formed by 2metering pumps in accordance with the requirements of chemical
delivery process. The pumps are arranged 1as the working pumps for 1
discharge points individually, and 1as the standby pumps. The working and
standby pumps are switched-over manually, when necessary. Each discharge
line is set a safety-relief-valve to protect it from work under over-pressure
situation. The whole process, i.e. solution preparation and dosing can be
performed in 1 operation model named local operation model.
Solution preparation process: A drum pump is used to fill the Original
hydrazine solution into the metering-box. The power supply of drum pump are
taken from the corresponding socket on the control cabinet, The valve in the
inlet-line of the box being filled should be turn first, start the drum pump
manually. When the liquid level reaches the high-level set-point, the pump will
be stopped automatically. To fill the solution tank with dilution water (desalted
or condensate water), turn on the electric valve in the water inlet-line, as well
the valve between the metering-box and solution tank, manually, also the
mixer to mix diluted hydrazine solution. When the metering-box is emptied,
manually close the valve between the metering-box and the solution tank.
When the liquid level in the solution tank reaches high-level set point, the
water inlet electric-valve will be shut down automatically. The mixer will stop

automatically after its starting for a period of time (can be set between 0-60
Minutes), also will stop automatically at a low-level set point and can not be
started until the level is up to above the low-level set point. The Solution
preparation process is completed.
Dosing process: After open the valve at the bottom of solution tank, dosing
process can be started by turning on the metering pump, so far. The flow rate
of metering is adjustable to required rate, by regulating the pump stroke
length manually. During the dosing process, when the liquid level drops to a
low-level set point, close the valve manually. When the Low-Low level set
point is reached, the metering pump will be stopped automatically.

2) Phosphate Dosing Device


There is 1 stainless steel tank used for the phosphate solution preparation
and storage, and a metering pump dosing unit formed by 2 metering pumps in
accordance with the requirements of chemical delivery process. The pumps
are arranged 1 as the working pump for 1 discharge point, and 1 as the
standby pump. The working and standby pump are switched-over manually
when necessary. The discharge line is set a safety-relief-valve to protect it
from work under over-pressure situation. The whole process, i.e. solution
preparation and dosing can be performed in 1 operation model, named local
operation model.
Solution preparation process: To fill the solution tank with dilution water
(desalted or condensate water), turn on the valve in the water inlet-line
manually. The electric-valve shuts off automatically, until the liquid level
reaches the high-level set point. its required quantity is put in a dissolving
basket which is suspend in the solution tank. Then start the mixer to mix the
diluted phosphate solution. The mixer will stop automatically after its having
run for a period of time (can be set between 0-60 Minutes), also will stop
automatically at a low-level set point, and can not be started until the level is
up to above the low-level set point. The Solution preparation process is
completed.

Dosing process: After open the valve at the bottom of solution tank, dosing
process can be started by turning on the metering pump. The flow rate of
metering is adjustable to required rate, by regulating the pump stroke length
manually. During the dosing process, when the liquid level drops to a lowlevel set point, the dosing process stops. When the Low-Low level set point is
reached, the metering pump will be stopped automatically. This situation only
appears when low-level alarm fails.
6.2.2 Metering Pump Flow Control
1) The pumps in hydrazine dosing devices:
The flow rate of the metering pumps is adjustable both in running and stop
state. There are one methods for the pump flow regulation which are manual
adjustment . Under local operation model, can the manual adjustment be
taken by regulating pumps stroke length.
2) The pumps in Phosphate dosing devices:
The flow rate of the metering pumps is adjustable both in running and stop
state. There are one methods for the pump flow regulation which are manual
adjustment . Under local operation model, can the manual adjustment be
taken by regulating pumps stroke length.
6.2.3 Safety Protection:

Metering pumps built-in safety valve: this valve is to protect the metering
pump from work under over-pressure condition. When over-pressure
happens for some unusual factors, the built-in safety-relief-valve will open
at the set point to relief the pressure built up in its discharge line.

Pipe relief-valve: this valve is to protect the online-equipment of the


metering pumps discharge line from overpressure, when some nonnormal factors which led to over pressurize the pipeline system. In the
case, the relief valve will open at set-point to relief the pressure.

When they fail to operate normally that causes their electrical current
exceeds a set value, the metering pumps, mixers automatically stop
running.

The level meters of all solution tanks are set high, low, low-low level alarm
points. Mixer is inter-locked with low-level alarm point, and metering pump
is with low-low level alarm point to prevent the metering pump or mixer
operates without liquid.

2 Main Design Parameters


Each machine waste heat boiler shall set up a water sampling points, a
saturated steam sampling points and a superheated steam sampling
points, a total of 12 sets of waste heat boiler, the set of 36 sampling points.
Each sample water point parts is the same.

Work Process description

4.1 Preparations before the start of the device


All the high pressure valves shall be shut off. All the connectors and fasteners
shall not be loose and fall off. The pressure regulating screwnut of the
constant pressure valve shall be turned to middle position. Open the master
valve of the main pipe of the cooling water inlet and outlet. The pressure P of
the main pipe of the cooling water inlet shall be above 0.2Mpa. Check the
connecting part of all the valves and components, and make sure the
connection is reliable. The pressure relief valve on the artificial sampling disk
shall be at the maximum opening degree.
4.2 start of the device
Open the inlet and outlet ball valve of the cooler in turn. Put the recoil filter
into running state. Open the first gate and second gate (fully open) of the
sample water inlet of the device in turn and open the pollutant-discharge gate
to the utmost extent to discharge the impurities of the sample water. After the
discharging is finished, close the pollutant-discharge gate. (Remark: 15S
before the shutoff of the pollutant-discharge gate, put the recoil filters into
recoil state, clean the filter element, after the discharging is finished, put the
filter into the running state again.) Open the sample water gate of the artificial
sampling disk.
4.3 Stop of the device
Close the first gate and second gate of the sample water inlet of the cooling
frame. Close the sample water gate of the artificial sampling disk. Close the
instrument panel pressure relief valve. Cut off the cooling water source of the
device.

4.4 Operation of the device


The high pressure valve must be completely open or closed and must not be
used for throttle. The ball valves of inlet and outlet of the cooler are all open. If
the sampling flow is relatively small, in order to prevent the impurities from
being brought into the sampling pipe during the recoil, the following measures
shall be taken. Make recoil cleaning for the high pressure filter and remove

the impurities from the filtrating orifice of the filter element, so as to increase
flow. When the protection valve is in running state, a cooling water cutting off
or sample water over-temperature protection test shall be made at regular
interval once a week, so as to check the reliability of the protective device.
Remark: in the test, close 50% the valves of the inlet or outlet of the cooling
water main pipe, to put all the protection valves under the protective condition,
the protection valve shall cut off the sample water completely.

2 General Description
This device should be supplied of input voltage AC 480V,60HZ,three-phase
four-wire accessed system.The control voltage is AC120V.
1)Sewage is pumped to liquid inlet of the equipment by lifting pump,which is
installed in sanitary sewage storage basin, with local individual electrical
cabinet which proveded local and remote control, but the control box is not
responsible for sewage pump control.The sanitary sewage pumps have two
sets toally, and one of them for standby. In the actual process two sewage
pumps should be taking turns to be standby one, and 24 hours (or decided by
yourself) for switching. The start or stop of sewage pumps is interlocked by
water level of sanitary sewage storage basin, and the high or low level alarm
signals are supplied by ultrasonic levelmeter equipped on baisn. When
sewage pump in local operation mode, start or stop sewage pump manually,
When sewage pump in remote operation mode, pump auto stop if low level in
basin alarm, pump auto start if high level in basin alarm.
2)Blowers are supplied by two sets and one of them for standby, In the actual
process two blowers should be taking turns to spare, and 4 hours (or decided
by yourself)for switching. When blower in local operation mode, start or stop
blower manually, When blower in remote operation mode, blower auto start if
sanitary sewage pump is running,blower auto delay 4 hours to stop if sanitary
sewage pumps stop working. If pumps stop working for long time(when little
sanitary,water level under work level),two blower continue alternately work for
ensuring biofilm normal growth,and every 2 hour for 20 mins running(interval
and work time should be adjusted according to actual situation).
3)The lifting mud device is auto starting once for every 24 hours, every time
working for five minutes, and open and close automatically.

4)When backflow pump in local operation mode, start or stop backflow pump
manually, When backflow pump in remote operation mode, pump is running
continuous.
3 Operation
First turn on power supply to "ON" position make the three-phase power is
connected, then switch tolocaloperation on control box operation panel.
press the start button respectively to check each pumps and fans whether
normal working, then switch to "remote" position make pumps into the
automatic control. Two fans of commissioning process is same with pumps,
working alternating time for four hours, but the two fans should not be worked
at the same time whether in "local"or"remote" mode. Mud lifting system auto
start to work every 24 hours and work 5 minutes each time,when the
comissioning is finished (or decided by yourself), the process come into
normal working.
4 Debugging
This set of sewage treatment equipment is great flexibility in debugging
operation, water quanity is designed to adapt water quality. The main process
is biological contact oxidation , the water flow into the basin which is used to
adjust water quality and quanity. Biomembrane that fall off by aerobic
biochemical contact in biochemical reaction basin then flow into sedimentation
basins with sewage. Then Sewage is cleared and separated in sedimentation
basins, sewage clarified flow into disinfect basin to disinfect. (disinfectant is
used solid chlorine piece , chlorine piece dosing quantity for 10PPM).To kill
the bacteria, the waste water treatment is completed after disinfection,then
drain out. The sludge in sedimentation basins is lifted to digestion tank by
sludge pump, then the sludge is drained out to sludge concentration pool
regularly after digest process ,wastewater treatment process is finished.

Positioning bracket
As shown in the schematic, in some cases, it may need a positioning bracket
which height is free to adjust according to the need of installation. There are 4
holes on the bottom of the machine fixed on the bracket by 4bolts.

2.2 Assembly and Installation


1) The scraper is pre-assembled in some degree when it is shipped.
2) Place the scraper on its installation base, and open the upper cover, adjust
the levelness by a level based on the flange of the upper roller.( As shown in )

3) Place the filtering belt on the upper roller by reference to the replacement
of the belt in.
4) Place the lower roller as shown.
5)Connect the hoses with the oil and water outlet. So far, the scraper
installation is completed.
6) It is recommended that positioning the scraper away from the sources of
animal and vegetable oils.
2.3 Operation
1) First, fill clean water into the tank by the volume of half of the separation
tank.
2) Then switch on the built-in switch of the scraper, and make sure the belt
moves well.

3) Check if the moving belt and the scraper are matched well by the in and out
flows of the oily-water. They should be equal in normal condition.
4) The oil and water separates in the separation tank due to their different
specific gravity.
2.4 Belt replacement
Tools neededOpen-end and adjustable wrenchs

1) Remove the lower roller by lifting the belt


2) First remove the screws from the upper roller bearings on the side without

the chain gear, then the 2 screws on both sides of the water tray attached on
the bottom of the upper roller, finally take out the water tray.
3) After completing the steps above, pull the bearing up (as shown) and

remove away the belt, then place a new belt back in the way that the direction
of rotation is same as that of the arrow shown on the filter back.
4) To prevent the filter belt from offset, it is necessary to pay your attention to

the followings:
Check its levelness
Adjust the tightness of the bearings to make the belt moving easy.
Adjust the water tray and scraper position (as shown)
Move the scraper forward to the filtering belt gradually until the oil is scraped
off.

3 Oil & water separator


3.1 General Description
It is highly integrated that the process of forced separation, coarsening,
adsorption coalescence, and structured into a steel cylindrical.It is formed a
integrate equipment with storage tanksback wash pump and control box. It

is highly extensive adaptability to handle all kinds of difficult conditions of oily


wastewater, for the process fully utilizes the gravity separation characteristics,
completely suitable for plant oily wastewater treatment.
Oily wastewater flows into pro-liquid filter firstly, then flows into the water
separator tank to separate oil and water by utilizing the packing of separation
tank. When the oil flow rate is slowly because of the low temperature, start
electrical heater to heat float oil. The reading of pressure gauge can react the
oil flow rate, and it should be balled out by washing of pro-liquid filter and oil
&water separate tank though back wash pump,oil level meter is used to
monitor oil discharge.
After the treatment the water can be directly discharge or appropriate reuse,
and oil can be recycled.
There is a electrical cabinet provides local operation and status display, and
receiving remote control signals.
3.2 Equipment compose
The equipment is integrated by the following parts: the oil level meter, electric
heater, pre-liquid filter device, the oil-water separator, oil storage tank, back
wash pump, the control box, etc
3.3 Instructions
1)check
Before starting the device should check the work condition of each valve,
pump and electrical parts whether according with the requirement.
2)Run preparation
First open water inlet valve, close water outlet valve and drain valve. Start-up
oily wastewater lifting pump, then close the oil discharge valve when water
overflow to oil discharge valve, coutinue to run when water flow to water oulet,
the equipment go into the normal operation.
Note: oily wastewater lifting pump is installed in oil pool, with independent
control box.

3)Oil discharge process


When the equipment is working, the oil-water separator in full flow condition,
after equipment runing after one or two divisions, some air is discharged when
open oil discharge valve and this is normal. Observe the liquid when the liquid
flows out, if it is oil continue to flow and connect the hose to the oil stroage
tank, then close oil discharge valve when oil is completely drained out; if the
discharge liquid is water, oil discharge valve must be closed immediately.
4)Stop
After finsih working,the equipment should be runned by cleaning water for 1520 minutes, operation process is same with run preparation, and device
should be in full flow state after stopping.
3.4 The process of back wash
For normal working, the pressure readings between 0.01-0.09 MPa, if the
reading is reach to 0.10 MPa, back wash of pre-liquid fiter is needed. water
inlet valve should be closed when back wash, and open the back wash water
inlet valve and back wash water oulet valve. Backwash pump is stopped after
running about 10-15 minutes, and open water inlet valve ,close back wash
water discharge valve,then the equipment is in the normal operation.
If backwash effect is not obvious, the back wash time should be extended
until the back wash pressure gauge reading returns to normal.
3.5 Control mode
There are local/remote two control mode supplied.
1) Local mode
Local Start/stop back wash pumps, heater and open/close oil discharge
electric valves manually.
Automatically open oil discharge electric valve when high oil level alarm,
automatically close oil discharge electric valve when low oil level alarm.
2) Remote mode

Start/stop back wash pumps, heater and open/close oil discharge electric
valves remotelly.
Automatically open discharge oil electric valve when high oil level
alarm,automatically close discharge oil electric valve when low oil level.
