1. Entrance to the platform


In order to minimize the possibility for errors while attempting to access the platform, we
recommend you to use the following browsers: Internet Explorer (for Windows) or
Safari (for Mac). The use of the Internet Explorer is recommendable for the registration,
in any further actions you are able to use your preferable browser.
You can access the platform through: http://consultant.tutorabc.com/

2. Deactivation of the Pop-up blocker


In order to avoid any issues while accessing and loading information from the platform,
please make sure that you have deactivated the Pop-up blocker option in your browser.
To deactivate it, open the settings of Internet explorer (as its shown on Picture 1) and
make sure that the checkbox in Turn on Pop-up blocker is unchecked.

3. Change the local time zone


When you enter to the platform it is necessary to change the Local time zone settings
according to your location.

1. Select a location from the dropdown menu that corresponds to your time zone.
2. Click on None radio button.
3. Save the changes

After changing the time zone, the information on the start window is changed. Several
additional options are now available.

4. Agreement and payments


Once your account is approved (after the registration to the platform and successfully
passed interview), the system generates a consultant agreement with the data you
already provided. To consider the contract signed, you must agree pressing the
Agree button.
You can also open the agreement in new window by marking the iTutorGroup text,
press right mouse button and choose open in new window option.

After you have agreed, you have the possibility to fill in additional information in your
account profile- payment method details and bank account details.
In Account number field insert your IBAN number (the number of your bank
account). In order to check the filled information, please use the Check your IBAN
link.
Make sure you have filled in your Swift code/BIC code
After completion of all necessary fields, use Confirm Payment Method button.

4.1. Agreement information


You need to send in your ID data in order for iTutorGroup to prepare your service
agreement.

5. Team viewer installation


To grant access to iTutorGroup IT department for PMIT TEST (final technical check of the
available resources needed for the proper execution of your duties in the platform), you have to
install Team viewer. Please use the following links according to your operational system.
Windows: https://www.teamviewer.com/bg/download/windows/
MAC: https://www.teamviewer.com/bg/download/mac/
TeamViewer is a software application that allows a remote access to your personal device. This
possible only when you grant access. Youve got total control of the process and you can
terminate the connection at any time.

6. Tutor Chat installation


Tutor chat is the main communication channel within the platform. Here you can
request a full test (PMIT test) and also report any technical issues.
Please load the installation links using Internet Explorer(use EDGE if you are using
Windows 10). The use of the Internet Explorer is recommendable for the installation
of the Tutor chat, in any further actions you are able to use your preferable browser.

During the installation it is possible that the antivirus program alerts you that it needs
permission to continue with the installation. Please make sure you have clicked Run
anyway both for Windows and for the antivirus program.

6.1. Tutor Chat installation MAC


Go to System Preferences

Go to Security & Privacy

Make sure downloading apps are allowed

Wait until it finished Double clicking on the Tutor Chat app file

7. System Requirements Scanner


The System Requirements Scanner is a handy tool for self-test of the resources needed for the
provisioning of high quality and reliable service to the students. The self-testing is easy and fast
way to perform the obligatory IT tests. All the results need to be approved from the IT team. You
can download the application through the following links:
For Windows

For MAC

After the download, MAC users should go to security settings and mark the application as Safe
to run. This is not a necessary step if you are using Windows.
How it works:
7.1.

After the download you need to run the application

When you run the application the interface will pop up. In order to proceed you are
supposed to enter your e-mail address (the e-mail from your registration). Make sure
to mark the checkbox for Terms of agreement. You can change your language from
the dropdown menu. If your internet connection is reliable at the moment, you will
receive a notification in the application start screen.

Please have the following equipment ready for the test:

Fast and stable internet connection


Computer or Laptop (no iPad or tablet)
Webcam
Headset
Neutral and quiet background

After completion of the previously described steps, the Next button will
appear. Press it to continue further.
7.3.

The application will start to check the available resources and the quality of your
connection. This might take several minutes.

7.4.

When the check is done, the results will appear showing information about the
hardware and the versions of some essential applications. Press Next button to
continue.

7.5.

Internet speed test is automatically performed and you will get the result on your
screen. If you need to test again just press Retry.

7.6.

For the audio test you need to have equipped you microphone and headset in order to
get better optimal results. Press the Record button and make a short voice clip. If
you dont like the quality or you prefer to change some settings of the devices you are
using, just press the Again button and record again.

For the camera tests press Start recording button.

7.8.

Once you complete all the tests you will receive a short report showing your progress
with the IT self-assessment. You can contact PMIT B or IT Support (or any other PMIT in
case of any delays) to approve the outcome of the self-testing. All you need to do is to
write in Tutor chat:
Hi, my name is [candidate names] and my e-mail is [e-mail used for registration],
please check my IT test result.

8. Tutor Chat installation and PMIT test

Once you have completed with the Tutor Chat installation, you can log in using your e-mail (from
the registration) and your initial password (YYYYMMDD)
After you are logged in you can send a request for your PMIT test. The IT test request should be
forwarded with priority to PMIT B or IT Support. In case of any delays you can message any
other PMIT who is online.
Optional way to perform a PMIT test is using the System Requirements Scanner

Please have the following equipment ready for the IT test:

Fast and stable internet connection


Computer or Laptop (no iPad or tablet)
Webcam
Headset
Neutral and quiet background

In order to request the IT test, please start your Team Viewer and send the PMIT-B the following
details:

Your name
Team Viewer ID
Team Viewer pass
Full PMIT test request

After you complete the steps, the IT team will use the Team Viewer ID and Team Viewer pass to
check your computer and to perform a test session.

9. Training
Your training on the platform begins with a video training that will prepare you how to work
properly and successfully on the platform.
The video training is divided in three fields: Software Essentials, Understanding the Tutor Group
and Teaching the Tutor Group Way.

Please make sure you fill in the quizzes after each video.
Once you have completed the videos, you can make a test session and get to know its
functionalities.

10. Live session


Once you have completed the self-training you can book a live training. In order to book
a session, please change the time zone to +3 E.Europe Standard Time for the Summer
Time period and +2 E. Europe Standard Time for the Winter Time.
The topic is Live Orientation for new consultants. Pick date and time suitable for you.
When you click Reserve button, it changes to cancel (in case you need to cancel it).
5 minutes before the training starts the button changes to ENTER. The live training is
two hours. Always strive to book a session no later than the next day after completion
of the self-training.
Session booking, live trainings and tests timings are influenced from the time zone
settings. Please make sure to adjust the right settings if there are any daylight saving
time changes for your location. According to the daylight saving time changes Sofia,
Kiev, Athens and Bucharest are corresponding to UTC+3(from the last Sunday of March
until the last Sunday of October) and to UTC +2(from the last Sunday of October until
the last Sunday of March)
