REPORT OF COMPLIANCE VERIFICATION
FOR ALL COMMERCIAL YACHTS (CYs), YACHTS ENGAGED IN TRADE (YETs), PRIVATE
YACHTS LIMITED CHARTER (PYLCs) AND PASSENGER YACHTS (PAXYs)
This flag State Report of Compliance Verification is intended to assist in maintaining compliance with applicable
international and Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) safety, security and pollution prevention requirements. An RMI
Maritime Administrator Appointed Representative (AR) shall complete this form in accordance with the guidance set forth
in the Guidelines for Appointed Representatives in conducting Compliance Verifications (MI-290). This report sets out
the minimum areas to be verified and should not restrict the AR from verifying other equipment, areas and/or records as
may be necessary and appropriate. The AR should provide written observations and remarks when appropriate to document
the yacht's condition and crew competence. A copy of this preliminary report should be submitted to the Captain or the
Captains representative upon completion and signing. The sections applicable to CYs are also applicable to PAXYs and
YETs unless otherwise stated.
