Justification: The work of At DBRG Additional works for functional of Under Floor Wheel Lathe at cost of Rs. 65.96 lakhs was sanctioned
under Pink Book Item No. 618 of 2013 14 under PH 4200 (SN 1 to 3) which includes Engg and Elect Estimate. (SN/-53 to 69)
The processing for the work was not continued as the shifting of KYQ Wheel Lathe was not done. However, vide Dy
CME/Planning/MLGs L/No. M/218/RNY-MZS(PMP) dtd. 7.12.15 (SN/-12) and CME/MLGs letter no. M/218/RNY-MZS/PMP/Pt. I dtd.
28-11-15 (SN/-10), considering the utility and steady expansion of coaching services of DBRG and TSK base with Rajdhani and other trains
also being taken in for Primary Maintenance in the near future the underfloor Wheel Lathe sanctioned under RNY-MZS GC project is to be
located at DBRG and the subject work revived. The GA drawing has been signed and sent to M/S HYT Engg Co Pvt Lt, New Delhi who was
awarded the contract for Under Floor Wheel Lathe. (SN/-4 to 9)

JUSTIFICATION:
The work At TSK- Setting up of Mechanized Laundry at DBRG at cost Rs. 1,78,72,000.00 was sanctioned in Item No. LAW Item
No. 1321 for the year 2011-12 under PH- 5300. The same has appeared in LAW 2013-14 vide item No. 749.
Tender for Engineering and Electrical works have been awarded long back. Almost 90% of the Engineering work has already been
completed.
The store tender for procurement of laundry equipments has been done by HQ Stores which has been accepted at 87.51% higher
than the sanctioned estimate for the items.
In view of the above, the revised estimate has been prepared. The total cost of work on revision of the estimate comes to
Rs. 1, 90, 56, 546.00 (Rupees One crore, ninty lakhs, fifty six thousand and five hundred and forty six only) approx.
