pullover design by Susan Mills.

Wednesday morning Open Knitting.

Dear Knit Doctor,

Can we truly complete our project and become master stranded color
knitters in just one month? And remember that February is a short month.
Skeptical from Valparaiso
Dear Skeptical,
Fair Isle February will probably stretch into March
and possibly April, but Fair Isle February, March, and
April doesnt have the same ring to it that Fair Isle
February does.

Gavarnie
Lintilla

Debbie has been enjoying

working through the designs
by German designer, Martina
Behm. Lintilla is a shawlette
with a ruffled scalloped edge.
Debbie has sorted through
the wisdom on Ravelry about
working the ruffle and has
added some refinements
of her own to make this
accessory piece even more
fun to knit. This project will
give you plenty of practice in
perfecting your short rows.
Its also a great excuse to
use some of the beautiful
new self-striping yarns.

Work this tunic designed by

Norah Gaughan in Berrocos
Weekend DK. V-shaped lace
work and rows of eyelets on
the front and back are the main
event on this piece. Details also
include a split hem. The side
insets are knit outwards and
bordered with a row of eyelets.

Needle Felted Bunny

Novice and experienced needle felters will enjoy making this

3-inch bunny. Learn to sculpt wool with a barbed needle to

youll learn in this class can be applied to making your own

Felted
Clogs

Clogs are knit XXXL size in wool and then run through the
washing machine to shrink the wool into a tight, firm fabric.
Susan will share her tips and tricks to help you keep track
of the wrap and turns and increases that create the clog
shaping. There are size options for every family member.
Every new pair that Susan creates has a new element of
creativity. Shell show you how to use needle felting to add
a name, a flower, a soccer ball, a snowman, snowflake, or
whatever embellishment you want. You can even add a jester
fringe to the cuff for a real touch of whimsey.
