JUST POVERTY But..this can be fixed.. .. .. ..

It is to be the start of a new decade in just a few years.

As the world hustles by, on to the next big achievement, I have once again returned to the exact place where a
type of journey started for me and many others and some other people too.

I Hope Today To Start That Again For Maximillino, His Two Sisters And His Mom And Many More Starving
In Guatemala This Very Day

HOL GS

As I today look at the World Bank the place where I started my understanding of what the world was
really all about in some places.
I found myself on a journey that was part of a journey that many people of the world took together.
I would like to say first, Thank you World Bank and the many others who joined a similar
cause and made the biggest difference this world has ever seen!

Much has changed for over 2 billion plus people in the world today because of this difference.
The change although important, was not really well known, nor was it's outcome as dramatic as it
might would have been expected to be, even though the issues were and still are extremely important.
Even so this is the case now and many are very thankful that so many have been brought to a more
sufficient world, where hunger and extreme poverty became a livable condition and the poor, although
still poor, seem to be doing much better in every way imaginable.
Today just about all the poor of the world today although still poor, are receiving health care, food and
a better way of life over all.
There is a brighter day for all the children of the world today because they have access to education,
dignity and many even human rights.
Even though there are still many other problems in some nations today. Many of the past problems
people were having had more to do with poverty then just hate and discrimination alone.
The lack of money and the abundance of corruption effected the right for some people to even be
allowed to have money, was also a hidden aspect of how hate became out of control for some people of
the world.
I hope that is not the case in Guatemala right now but when you see some living so well and then others
living so poorly, you have to wonder what the motivation could be.
Hate right now has some how separated from the worlds most at risk, who were mainly poor. This hate
has found a new home in places that too became destroyed just as hard and fast as some of the more
poorer places in the world even though they were not even that poor.
This also doesn't make it OK either, but there is so much more hope in the world today then a little over
a decade ago, that what ever causes communities to up root and go into violent sectors of life not being
worth as much as it should. There is sense of normalcy returning to many places in the world and that
in itself is a miracle.
The fact that some of the nations in turmoil right now, are not as poor as some nations are and were
before, is a great turn around that has taken place. This also doesn't excuse the current violence and
disregard for life some people and groups are having for others as well as the state of the innocent
victim's and their families.
The fact that there is still a great violence and violation of people, their human rights and right to life
and safety might lead people to want to wait till this straightens out before the issues at hand can be
addressed again.
But unfortunately to the World Bank and Other Concerned Parties, This is something that just
cannot wait any more!

As I watched the video in the first link put together by a great organization called Food For The
Poor.
The same faces of pain and disparity except on new people are once again telling their story in hopes
that some where will hear them and Help Them Too.
Even though there was hope that the great change of caring for all the people of the world would take
on whole and individual nations and empower them to feed and care for the poor.
The hope that All Nation's Leaders could or would stand up for their people while the giving and
helping was going on was also a great hope many had. That the problems were starting to go away and
things could be better for everybody especially The Young Children and Their Mothers Too.
Many hoped that while the helping and feeding of so many was going on The Nations Leaders would
stand up and say, Hey that may not be all the people of my nation but sadly its some of them, what can
I do or the nation do to help too.
Even in Guatemala.
That as nations in a connective national world they could just come out with it and even if they couldn't
fix it, they could maybe start the process by just asking their people to maybe help.
This is not actually happening just yet.
But many hope it might start happening soon!
The social reasons that children and their families still starve to death and die of sicknesses that cost
pennies to treat might still be hate and maybe some people of some of the still noticeably poor nations
just don't like the ones who are really poor.

But in the world the World Bank and Many, Many Others Envisioned:
That should never be no matter what under any circumstances.
Which came first is probably a long story that's reasons
don't really matter as much if people in a few years are
going to start dying of starvation again.

Although Guatemala has a current 50+% Poverty Rate.

From the visuals available and eyewitness accounts (those who look to be the extreme rural poor) they
look a lot poorer then they should be.
Guatemala is also are having a critical high rate of childhood mortality, children that are acutely
malnourished and even though many are receiving food aid they are still starving to death and getting
sick.
Although Guatemala is poor, the nation scores mid index range on most development charts including;
PPP and HDI.

Guatemala's GINI is high and is reflected by the social demographics of the nation as having either
very well off people or extremely poor people and little in between.
But they did quell some unrest issues over the last few years that related more to the government police
then the actual people of the nation.
Guatemala is one of the poorest nation in South and Central America and what ever is going on socially
many with out assistance look very, very poor and it could be assumed no one knows what to do.
I would also like to add they are very hard to find on lists.
It is almost if they as a nation are hiding and you have to look really hard to find them in the normal
indexes that relate to the poor.
In some ways I think The Poorer Guatemalan People are ashamed and even on this list of The Worlds
Poorest they look and sound like they should be there with 50% poverty but they are not.
Guatemala is also the biggest economy in Central America that makes their disparity even greater, as
they seem to have beautiful fertile land even if their problems are social and human rights for whatever
reason. No matter how wealthy the Guatemalan People might could be, this will never happen if it's a
hate and a human rights to prosperity issues going on.
When this starts to stand out to a different eye then academia even if they might use this eye too. It
becomes difficult for nobody just to not say anything.
One thing about poverty is the lack of hope for each new day.
Weather there needs to be an increase in the NGO Service Providers, International New Social
Learning Programs or just an Influx of Donations.
There needs to be a Right Now attitude taken ASAP before they slip to far.
What ever is going on.
Getting new things like clean clothes for those who have not been selected for aid just yet, new
household items and even new economical green housing models.
The only way to fight what is so apparently going on is to help them a lot right now.
Guatemala as of, at the least, This very day.
Can no longer be ignored as having a very serious social economic crisis in the making right now!

We as a World Community can't in this day and age, an age that includes; the success of many world
governments worldwide in fighting and winning the devastating effects of Nations in Crisis.

In the world that the World Bank and their Partners have envisioned and actually put forth this vision,
is a world that respects each nation's right to be and the identity of the people living there, but at the
same time follows an agreed to by most mandate That All People Count even in Guatemala.
That All People deserve a fighting chance to live prosper and be some what free to just be.
Although the reality of fully inclusive global social aid programs, have not materialized just yet.
The arm of a type of mandatory hand out to those in crisis and seen as in need, has been the norm and
practically saved the world including the trickle down effects to and in the First World.
Through various out of control natural perils like floods, famine and even social conflict and unrest, the
world has stood up to the challenge of affecting human life through intervention aid, material aid and
friendship aid.
With out this intervention weather wanted or simply accepted because there was little else in form of a
choice to do otherwise. This has been balanced with the hopelessness that some feel like in the video of
my global sister and this has even saved lives.
Telling a nation and its product which is its national system they are failing at taking care of their own
people is not an easy pill to swallow.
If intervention is not done with respect and understanding there can always be a later on delayed
reaction.
Fortunately that has not been the case and many agencies have created endearing moments through
their programs that really do work and reach the people.
As I conclude this brief reminder of days gone by I would like to say:
HELP MY GLOBAL SISTER Because She Is Worth It!
Thank you for your time and consideration in the matter..
