RULES AND REGULATIONS

International Research Council of Astrology and Vedic Sciences, imparts sacred knowledge of
Vedas and instill high patterns of discipline through our dedicated faculty who meet global
standards. Over the past year, IRCAVS has developed as a worldwide organisation, a forum for
exchange and reflection and an observatory in the field of Astrology and Vedic Sciences.
Mandated to promote all types of Traditional Rituals, IRCAVS is an organisation habilitated to
speak to institutions, Temples and regions. It works through for the development and promotion
of Astrology, Vedas and the role of Astrologers, Spiritualists and Priests in the context of social,
cultural and economic development.
IRCAVS is One of best global Institute working in the field of Astrological
research and teaching. knowledge of Astrology making our students technologically superior
and ethically strong, to improve the quality of life of the human race.
The Council conducts different courses based on Astrology, Vaastu, Palmistry, numerology and
Vedic studies, in order to encourage the study and research in these sciences. The Institute also
selects eligible candidates who have passed out Jyotish - courses for research in Astrology under
the guidance of well Qualified Faculty.
The classes are conducted in English and Hindi on Saturday and Sunday. On successful
completion of Course, the students are awarded Certificate
Duration of Course :
One year of each course has three parts and there shall be two lectures in a week on Saturdays
and Sundays. There is about a month's break between summer term. Research classes will be held
on both days for one year, however, for a batch, it will be held only on one day.

Admission Procedure :

Application duly filled in on the prescribed form must reach the Office on before the
prescribed date along with.

Identity and Address Proof. Please provide the address proof of correspondence
address only. All communication would go to Correspondence address only.

Bank Pass Book / Statement.

(vi)

Latest Electricity Bill or Telephone Bill (Not more then two months old).

3. A photo copy of Matriculation or Higher Secondary Certificate showing the


date of birth.
4. Three copies of recent passport size photograph, one duly pasted on the form and
two with form without pasting.

The applicant would be required to appear for an Interview before admission. The admission
would be given on the basis of general intelligence, motivation and interest in the subject and
conditions prescribed in.
The list of selected candidates for admission to the courses will be displayed on the notice board.
The selected candidates are required to deposit the prescribed fees in full in the office of institute
with in a week after publication of the list on the notice board.. One copy of fee receipt will be
given to the student at the time of deposit of fees. After a week waiting Candidates will oblize if
required.

Library :
Every Institute have its own Reference Library having a large variety of books and Journals.
Books are not issued to students. Students can read the books and journals in the library. The
Identity Card to be used in library can be obtained from the office on submission of photograph.
Attendance :
A minimum of 75% attendance at lectures in all courses is required on the whole besides
completing homework.
Medium of Instructions :
Medium of instructions shall be English and Hindi and the students can answer the questions in
English or Hindi. A partial use of Hindi in the English medium classes and English in the Hindi
medium classes is permissible for the purpose of better clarifications and communication.

Confirmation of Admission
Admission of students will be confirmed by the admission committee on verification of the
certificates in original, on the basis of which they are admitted. These documents must be
produced at the time of Interview. Admission shall be cancelled in case the prescribed fee is not
deposited within prescribed time limit.
Examination Fee and Other Charges :
Towards the end of the Course the following amount is to be paid.

Procedure for Payment of Fees and Examination Fee :


1. Fee will be accepted in cash only at the office of the institute from 10.00a.m. to
5.00p.m. on every working day except Sunday(Saturday: 10.00a.m. to 12.00p.m.)

At the time of admission one year fee along with other charges must be paid.

3.

Dates for the payment of fee and other dues by the students who are admitted will
be notified from time to time. If a student fails to pay his/her dues by the
stipulated date he/she will be fined @ Rs. 10/- each day of the delay subject to
maximum of Rs. 150/- per month from period limited to 30 days from the
stipulated date.

REFUND OF FEES :
1.

Fee will not refunded to student once it submitted in normal cases.

2.

50 of tuition fee will be refunded only in 14 days from the date of


admission in special cases i.e.transfer in job or on medical basis
after submission of proof regarding the matter

General Information :
1. Library fee includes cost of study material which may be given to the
students by the institute.
Discipline :
All the students registered with the Institute of Astrology will be subject to the general
disciplinary control of Advisor through its controller of Examinations and the rules framed by
International Research Council of Astrology and Vedic Sciences.
The Institute has the power to strike of the name of student who is grossly irregular or short
in attendance or when he/ she is guilty of misbehaviour or misconduct. The decision of the
Institute will be final and binding.
Class Monitor :
Every class will choose two monitors, who represent them in Monitor's meeting and for other
purposes. Monitor's meeting will be held on every first Sunday of the month to be conducted
by Examinations and Time Table Committee.
Awards / Prizes :
Mementoes and Certificate of Merit are awarded to the First three meritorious students who
stood First, Second and Third respectively in any courses English as well as Hindi Medium.
First three best chosen research articles per Research class will be awarded momentous and
Certificate of Merit for their research. Procedure for choosing research articles will be
decided by Examinations Committee and their decision will be final.
The information given in this booklet about the Course, Fees, Rules and Programmes is
subject to change at any time. Decision of the Council in this respect will be final and
binding.
