Dear Peace Corps Watch:

This is in response to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Specifically, you
wrote: I request that a copy of the following document(s) be provided to me. All Peace
Corps Medical Technical Guidelines (TG).

Peace Corps provided a response on September 30, 2016, sending you the Technical
Guidelines. An appeal was received from you on October 4, 2016 stating, The
responses are technical guidelines from Office of Health and Medical Services. Peace
Corps Medical Technical Guidelines (MTG) are numbered like, but not the same as, the
Technical Guidelines. Our understanding is MTGs are not policy, but medical
diagnostic.

A response to your appeal was issued on December 13, 2016. It was determined that
our response to your request, as we understood it, was proper. However, the FOIA
office was directed to provide a response to your appeal letter concerning Medical
Technical Guidelines.

After a thorough and diligent search of all appropriate offices within the Peace
Corps, no records responsive to your request were located. The Peace Corps has
Medical Technical Guidelines which are policy. We do not have Medical Technical
Guidelines that are diagnostic.
