9 to 10% DA hike is likely from July 2010, provided the All India Consumer Price
Index (AICPI) remains unchanged at 170 - as per the figures available from Labour
Bureau, Government of India (http://labourbureau.nic.in/indtab.html).

Depending upon final Price Index for June, the DA from June 2010 can be 45%. The
following calculations for the purpose are based on the assumption that the All
India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) remains unchanged at 170 during April to
June, which are yet to be announced.
