should be carefully listed on
your PC and you'll get the
spirit relation with authors
and their short masterpiece.
This is the poent of sharm at

Vladan Nikolic was born in 1968 in Zrenjanin, where he still

lives and works as a designer. He graduated from the
graphic design department at Novi Sad High School. Aside
from comics, he is also active in the fields of painting,
illustration and caricature.
His comics were published in local town newspapers and in
several comic reviews all around the country (Boomerang, Vladan Nikolić je rođen 1968. u Zrenjaninu, gde i sada živi i
Placebo, Graphic conspiracy, Bulldozer, Kick in the brain, radi kao dizajner. Završio je grafički dizajn na Srednjoj
Tick, Scream). He also publish his work in Slovenian comics grafičkoj školi "Bogdan Šuput" u Novom Sadu. Pored stripa,
fanzines (Strip Burek, Strip Burger, Mad Burger, War Burger, bavi se još i slikarstvom, karikaturom i ilustracijom.
Mini Burger, Honey Talks, Bridges, Balcanis), in Greek Njegovi stripovi štampani su u lokalnim gradskim i
comics magazine "9", in famous Slovenian child magazine regionalnim novinama (Zrenjanin, Srednje Banatske
Ciciban, and in fanzines from all over the world (SPX Novine, Zrenjaninske) i u nekoliko strip revija širom zemlje
anthology 2004 - USA, Mococo - France, ZKRAT - Czech (Bumerang, Placebo, Grafička zavera, Bager, Šut u mozak,

Rođen 1969. Diplomirao na Grafičkom fakultetu u Zagrebu, gdje
živi i radi. Al' to nije važno za ovu prigodu...
Važno je da crta od malih nogu, isprva sa željom da postane autor

stripova koje kao mali nemilice 'guta', crno-bijele i one u boji... Onda
je odrastao, završio školovanje, zaposlio se, promijenio nekoliko
tvrtki, te ostao u bliskom kontaktu s olovkom, gumicom i papirom,
održavajući svoju dječačku i mladanačku aktivnost na životu...
Karikaturom se počinje baviti u 'ozbiljnim' godinama, objavljujući u

nekoliko dnevnih novina i humorističkih časopisa...
Svakodnevnu rubriku karikatura imao je na jednom hrvatskom
portalu do prije nekoliko mjeseci, kada crtačku aktivnost počinje
pokazivati na vlastitom web sajtu www.zigdikat.com u nadi i
želji za ulaskom u 'profesionalnu' karikaturističku ligu... kiks

Humour a Gallarate
International Cartoon Contest
Grand Prix 'Marco Biassoni'
The thirteenth edition of the International Cartoon Contest is organized by the “Pro Loco” of Gallarate, at cultural
purpose, for testify the considerable creative contents of the humouristic concept and
graphic that will contribute at the development of a conscious, innovative, pluralistic and
tolerant society.
Regulations
1) The contest is open to all cartoonists, illustrators and graphic artists from all over the
world
2) Theme: The Numbers
3) Entries: max. 3 works. The works must be original and accompanied by the author's
photo or caricature, entry-form and biography. Each work should bear the signature or mark
of the author and name, surname, address, phone number and other data on the back.
4) Size: A4 (21 x 29,7 cm)
5) Technique: Free. Common graphic and digital prints will be accepted but only if signed by
the author. Copies of ink and pencil drawings are not applicable.
6) Deadline: September 22, 2007 (the post-mark will provide the proof)
7) Prizes: the Jury will award the following prizes: Grand Prix "Marco Biassoni"; 6 Special
Prizes
8) Exhibition: October 13-21, 2007 at Theatre Condominio.
Opening ceremony: October 14, 2007
9) Catalogue: each selected author will receive a copy
10) Property: the Organizers reserves the rights to reproduce the cartoons in catalogue,
newspapers, or posters to promote the Contest and to exhibit a selection of works in other
locations in Italy and other countries. All the works will not be returned and will be included
in the "Humour Gallarate Collection".
By submitting the works, the author accepts the rules and regulations of the Contest and the
decisions of the Jury.
