PROJECT DETAILS

1) Project: Foonthu
Team Size: 4

Description
Foonthu is a website where food enthusiasts easily connect with each other via recipes, tips
and tricks. Users will love it for its ease of use, rich information and features and sheer
openness. Foonthu aspires to be the ultimate food cooperative site that will enable people to
collaborate on food. The primary scenarios that Foonthu will enable is sharing recipes, finding
recipes and rating recipes.

2) Project: DWS

Description
DestinationWeddingSpots.com is a site designed to provide comprehensive destination
wedding information to couples considering a destination wedding instead of a more traditional
Wedding. The site will have featured articles on different destinations and articles on how to
plan and prepare for a destination wedding. Another primary feature to
destinationWedddingSpots.com will be a comprehensive paid directory of wedding and related
vendors specific to a particular destination (i.e., Key West, FL). DestinationWeddingSpots.com
intends to implement directory (www.edirectory.com)to manage the directory listings and
banner advertising. Additional features to be included are a destination wedding forum/social
network and the ability to create personalized wedding websites for engaged couples planning
a destination wedding.

3) Project: Find Me Club

Description
FindMeClub is a social networking site focused mainly for UK audience. Site users will be able
to write about their interests, hobbies etc on their profile page. The unique feature of this site
is to provide the user capability to plan for Events* and maintain his/her personal calendar.
Other site user can search for prospective Companion for a particular calendar day or range of
calendar days for a specific event or selection of events. Result is displayed order by distance
from desired location in an ascending order matching user’s choice for a specific desired
location (UK* towns).

Other site users will have accessibility to see their profile pages and exchange messages
between to know more about each other. This site gives the user the capability to send
invitation message for an event to a prospective companion. Site has launched Album and
Discussion Forum in its 2nd Phase. Photo album capability gives users accessibility to create
their own photo album with an option to keep this album publicly available or available for club
members only, similarly site users can create a forum and start a discussion in that forum,
users can keep any forum public or accessible to club members only.

4) Project: Worker Ant

Description
WorkerANT.co.uk gives people seeking services access to an ever-expanding database of
Providers - from accountants to gardeners and all skills in between. Users post their
requirements and relevant providers are notified and invited to bid. Ads can be created at the
user's convenience and bids made and reviewed at leisure, putting an end to the lengthy,
irritating and scattergun process of ringing round for quotes.

But worker ANT is more than just a trading website; it is a community that provides its users
with a low-risk, supportive base from which to conduct business. Employers can access a wide
range of services in a convenient one-stop-shop and service providers can create a high-profile
web presence without prohibitive start-up costs and other risks. Worker ANT also provides its
users with forums 'ask the experts' pages, news, features and reviews, creating a supportive
environment.

Broadly described as 'EBay for services', worker ANT offers an inclusive and non- corporate
approach to the flexible and temporary jobs market. The site draws on the success of other
web-based communities - like MySpace and even YouTube. It is aimed at everyone, and must
be relaxed yet clear, simple and professional in its outlook, language and design.

Worker ANT aims to be the home of flexible Working on the internet - it must be site where
people enjoy spend their time.

5) Project: Scroosh

Description
To design and develop from scratch an online social networking website (i.e., online
community) where a person can become a member and create a community network of
recommendations for restaurants, hotels, entertainment, and attractions in locations/cities
where the member has traveled and where the member lives. Members can create a personal
profile, list cities where they have traveled, make recommendations, and then this information
is available for others (friends and the general public) to search and review. Regardless of
whether the person searching the site knows the member making a recommendation, the
person searching recommendations can look to the member’s profile, read the
recommendations, and learn more (via links to websites) to help the person make a more
informed decision on where to stay, where to eat, and what to do when visiting a city.
