PROJECTS WORKED ON AS A PROFESSIONAL:

Tax$imple Software

Description:
Anish Information Technology Pvt. Ltd. is working for U.S. taxation known as
TAX$IMPLE.. SW (made in VB) is for federal, state and city tax returns – for both
desktop and online.

Modules Tested:
Testing of Tax calculation - Transfers (from federal to state), Mathematical
calculation for US states.

Printing Testing – GUI Testing, Content Testing, for online whether it is posted
properly on given ID for online.

E-file Testing - Testing of all required data (for E-file – approved by government)
Transmit it to the government (both – federal and state), its Updation in
database, its status (sent as an acknowledgment by government and post it to
the client) etc.

Website Testing for TAX$IMPLE

Description:
TAX$IMPLE has 12 different websites - for online customers having different
charges for each one.

Modules Tested:
(All websites are tested on IE 6.0, IE 7.0, Mozilla Firefox and Opera.)

GUI Testing.
Content Testing.
Link Testing.
Connection Testing – Whether it is connected to server OR not. Testing of plug-
ins for IE and Mozilla Firefox and testing automatic installation of that.
Performance Testing – speed, reason for slow reload of website, other
performance related criteria with W3 tool.
Load Testing.
ProSeries To Tax$imple

Description:
This software is used for client conversion from ProSeries to Tax$imple software
i.e. Any client can convert his past detail of ProSeries to Tax$imple software. At
the end automatically all forms are completed with its data.

Forms Tested:
All available forms are tested.

E-file Status

Description:
This project gives status for e-file return. It shows total number of returns are
accepted, rejected, pending, transmitted with specific ssn and date

Tested:
Thousand of records are created in sql server and all records are tested with
different status by executing the queries.

Package Management System

Description:
It is one type of online maintenance system. It used to keep track of State
packages. By this management can keep track of all packages i.e .how many
packages are done by particular programmer and how many days are taken by
them, whether it is ready for testing or not, after testing how many errors are
reported, whether it is ready for production or not etc.
