1. The President of the HOA, Saida Brandle, opened the meeting by greeting
everyone and introduced the new board members. She announced that she and
David are phasing out of their positions, but will continue to support the new
officers as needed. The newly elected members voted in unanimously are:
President: Kevin Gregory
Vice Presidents: Thomas Hoge
Todd Amerman
Secretary: Susan Mikan
Treasurer: Micheline Phillips
2. The increase in HOA dues was discussed. David and Kevin explained that we
need to increase our reserves and to have money for some upcoming projects
that are needed to enhance our neighborhood. Some homeowners requested to
split the payments in two installments. After a vote, it was decided residents
may pay the $350 all in one payment or pay $200 by March 31, 2017 with the
remaining $150 due by April 30, 2017. All checks are to be mailed to Creekmont
HOA, PO BOX 1805, Buford, GA 30515.
5. The Board discussed with the members of the HOA we welcome all referrals
and/or recommendations for any service providers, especially lawn care. This is
one of our largest expenses and we strive to keep a company that does exactly
what we need for the best price. Send all comments and/or suggestions to

6. Some members of the HOA commented they would like more communication
from the Board members and to know what is going on in the neighborhood. An
updated list of homeowners emails and phone numbers was started at the
meeting. If not at the meeting, please email creekmonthoa@gmail.com with
name, address, mobile number, and email address as soon as possible so that
we can include everyone in all correspondence. There is an existing Creekmont
HOA Facebook page where all communication is posted. It is incumbent upon
all members/residents to take notice of the Facebook page for all
communications related to the neighborhood. In addition, we will create an
email thread will all email addresses provided to also help with
communications.
8. The Board provided notice of posting several dog waste signs around the
community as a reminder to pick up waste from pets.
