Picture profiles

Picture profiles allow you to embed certain visual


characteristics into your footage. Though this may sound like a
weighted option, this book will show you both the functionality
and purpose of them.

Whether you are aiming to capture more data from the Super
35mm sensor to utilise more colour depth in post production, or
if you are planning on run and gun filming there is a profile in
this book for you.

Coming from well established companies, directors, and


colourists, all the way to general users, and tinkerers, this book
is a collation of all the picture profiles from around the world.

G-LOG ULTIMATE

It holds and rolls highlights better, giving more dynamic range and is the closest you can
get to S-Log. Set Zebra to 100 and make sure they never show up unless on bright items

Variable - as in G-Log, set your black levels a hair
