In regard to the information you have received in this course,
what do you know now that you did not know prior to the learning activities? a. I now know how to compute a program that prompts an user to input lengths and then change the desired input (lengths) to a desired output, such as a different type of measurement. Prior to this course, I did not know how to complete this task.
2. In regard to the information you have received in the course,
what has surprised you the most? b. The information that surprised me the most was how C++ programming is used in my everyday life. For example, C++ programming is used in a lot of applications that I use, such as Excel and Blackboard. Also, I am surprised that I am enhancing my programming and computer skills. In conclusion, I am also learning how to time manage for this course. The second assignment was very tricky, so I had to effectively time managed to complete the assignment before the due date.
3. In regard to the information you have received in the course,
what previous assumptions have been challenged? Confirmed? c. I really didnt have any previous assumptions about this course. I knew it was going to be a little difficult to grasp since I didnt have any C++ experience, but Im taking it one day at a time. One of my closest friend is an IT major, and she told me to make sure to double check your commands when computing a program. I learned how helpful that information was during my first assignment because one simple mistake can cause a problem when a person is trying to execute a program.
4. Is there anything that remains confusing?
d. From the second assignment, nothing was confusing. In the beginning, I did struggle for the first program of the 2 nd homework, but after I figured it out, I was able to complete the last portion of the 2nd homework.
