Singapore Indian Model Agency was founded by Surya Aanetra and Kavitha who are
models themselves in Singapore. After months of careful crafting and planning, SIMA
was eventually born on July 2016. Surya is the sole director of Singapore Indian Model
Agency and is an entreprenuer who owns 3 business collatively in Singapore. He has
been very active in the international modeling scene in Singapore. He has participated
in Mister Singapore, Manhunt International Singapore, Siloso Hot Bod contests and
was featured in the New Paper firness model section. He was also the brand ambassador
of the famous men's skincare and hair product, Labseries. He has done numerous
editorials, prints and promotional events and shows in Singapore. Significantly, he was
also involved as one of the male models in Singapore to promote the famous ornament
company, Royal Selangor. His print ads include Shutterstock , Evian and Hyundai
companies.
Kavitha, Singapore Indian Model Agency's Managing Director is an upcoming model
in Singapore. With her ravishing looks and demure, she has accolades in pageants
such as Interntional Saree Queen 2016 & Queen of Substance 2016 and she has been
given opportunities to walk the ramp in Milan and New York late 2017. Sha also does
many photoshoots and print ads for quite a number of famed photgraphers in Singapore
and in Bali. Kavitha believes that Indian women are the epitome of phenomenal beauty
and that given a plaform , they will shine bright and may take over the international
standards here in Singapore. Thus, the duo has come up with an ingenious plan and
there you have it ! SIMA making history in Singapore !

Style Etiquette Pte Ltd is a style and image consultancy business

grooming and etiquette programmes. The CEO of the company is
Vanitha Saravanamuttu. Vanitha had vast rich experience
working in private sectors for over 17 years. With this, she has
gained invaluable experience from the basics of secretarial
duties, underwriting expertise, office administration and human
resource. Having worked with a MNC, dealing with numerous
multinational clients, she has developed strategic insights into
diverse business cultures and settings. This is an edge in
complementing in helping corporations build and enhance their

Vanitha is also an avid lover in the beauty line, she has been a consistent participant for
many of Singapores prestigious beauty pageants. This is also in line with her passion to
meet more women to share beauty , charisma, elequonce and most importantly the bring
out women that beauty and intelligence comes hand in hand. She is a crowned winner of
Mrs Singapore India 2013. A finalist for Mrs Singapore Universe 2013. And the latest being
awarded Asia Pacific Queen of Substance 2014. Vanitha has continued to share her rich
experience to all future beauty pageant queens ; being a judge, style & image trainer,
grooming & etiquette trainer.

With her passion to style and coach people to look their best, together with her business
and training background, Vanitha believes in providing effective Professional Image
Management Programmes for corporate organizations. These trainings/workshops aim to
highlight the importance of effective image management to gain an edge in the highly

AN OVERVIEW

Singapore Indian Fashion Runway (SIFR) 2017 is the first

of its kind runway show to be held in the city state. It is
organised to be on par with the international standards of
modeling locally as well as globally. For the very first time,
a Milan styled theme is incorporated in this show. The
main purpose of SIFR 2017 is to transform Indian girls into
professional models and make them confident individuals
in society and shine globally. The show also wants to
showcase famous as well as to promote promising
designer fashionwear and collections. SIFR 2017 also
allows and serves as a great networking event for greater
connection for business and trade.
SIFR 2017 will be held annually and being the first show
held presently in 2017, we believe we can create a
benchmark in Singapore and bring in quality Indian
models into SIMA and showcase them professionally in
Singapore and globally.

GUEST OF HONOR

Lawyer, broadcaster, author, lecturer and activist, M Ravi has a distinguished career focussed
on human rights advocacy and social justice. Educated in Singapore, Hungary and the
United Kingdom, M Ravi started his notable career as a practicing lawyer in Singapore. He
quickly established his reputation as one of Singapores top human rights lawyer, having
argued more landmark human rights cases before the Supreme Court of Singapore than
any other lawyer.
His efforts are widely acknowledged to have been instrumental in changing the way
Singapore approaches death penalty cases. He has also been credited with causing a 12
month government moratorium on hangings in Singapore.
M Ravi is the author of books and articles including his autobiography, Kampong Boy, which
was nominated for the National Literature Singapore Prize. He is also a broadcaster, having
presented or participated in a number of successful current affairs and news programmes
in Singapore including the National Tamil Debate Series.
M Ravi has held various guest lectureships with academic institutions including the National
University of Singapore, the University of Queensland and Monash University. He speaks
widely on human
rights law and donates his time to a number of human rights organisations including the
Anti-Death Penalty Asian Network and the Singapore Anti-Death Penalty Campaign, both
of which he is a founding member. He now heads the Knowledge Management and Strategic
Alliance Department in an established Singapore law firm. M Ravi has expanded the scope
his work with a number of international collaborations including with Avocats Sans Frontieres,
the Legal and Human Rights Centre in Tanzania and the Justice Project in
Pakistan. In 2014, M Ravi was awarded an Asian Pink Award for contributions to the litigation
involving LGBTIQ rights in Singapore.

Sinagpore Indian Fashion Runway 2017 (SIFR 2017) models are from the prestigious and the only
Indian Model Agency, SIMA. SIMA Models as they are popularly called, go through a series of modeling
courses as well as fitness courses to better prepare themselves as professional models in Singapore.
As such, 31 models were carefully chosen to represent the excellent collections to be showcased in
SIFR 2017 show. They have been well groomed, well trained and been exposed to real modeling by
SIMA. Thus, it will definitely be a eye treat for all our SIFR 2017 guests. Get ready to see some of the

Vandana Talwar graduated from Raffles Design Institute Singapore, majoring in fashion design and
established her label Agragrami under our own company EVANNA FASHION HOUSE PVT LTD in
2011.Her fashion label derived from the word Agragrami true to its meaning; experimental or
innovative. Vandana endorse this philosophy into all her collections. Agragrami is an original
contemporary label, which reflects the spirit of its thrill-seeking, fun loving and adventurous founder.
She focuses on balancing classic tailoring with an edgy use of silhouette and colours, with classic
details. She has done 10 fashion shows in Singapore till now. She recently went for International
Fashion week in Miami, USA. She has constantly been inspired by paintings and art of different
artists- A successful, creative young woman. The challenge of truly flattering the body remains integral
to her take on contemporary fashion.Her collection is all about design development and construction.
Hand embroidery, beadings, abstract prints, angular layers and asymmetric structural elements has
helped to create these unique and exotic garments. The look is feminine edgy and bold. The urban
flavour is expressed in the materials, almost all different versions of lace, chiffon, silk and georgette.
This collection is represented by mouldings and use of materials and specific fabrics. The colours are
mostly neutral: white and beige as the base, brown as a complement with black to reinforce the
neutral concept. The designs explore the feminine concepts with fabrics and forms.
