Community Involvement
The RCPT faculty and Department has selected me out of the whole major to participate in a
creative process event representing the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department for a special
event forthcoming Spring 2017.

Completed 100 hours volunteering throughout southwest Virginia conducting various duties as
needed. Such as: assisted with karate instruction for the youth in Pulaski, VA; helped with a
million dollar+ wedding venue during a busy seasonal event; and planning programs which
involved youth at risk population for the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
