The Liberator [ 3 ]
The Liberator [ 4 ]
Preface

Dear Readers,
About 2000 years ago when the Jews were ruled by the
Romans, Palestine (now Israel) was under the influence of
Kalyuga or the Dark Ages. The Jews were being oppressed and
unrighteousness prevailed all over. In those dark ages, the only
hope people could find was in Christ, The Messiah. This
Liberator showed the path of righteousness or religion again.
By his great teachings, he taught people to walk the path of
Truth. The religious fanatics of those times declared him an
offender and crucified him.
The Messiah eliminated blind faith prevalent amongst the
people and in doing so sacrificed His own life on the altar of
Kalyuga (Dark Ages). His sacrifice proved to be fruitful and
people are being benefited by his sacrifice even today.
Crucifixion is the worst punishment of the Kalyuga. But this
great forgiving Messiah prayed God for forgiveness on behalf
of those people who crucified him. The birth of such a Son of
the Lord is celebrated as Christmas.
In India, festivals of every religion are celebrated and they have
many valuable teachings. Every festival is an indication and a
pathway to reach the ultimate goal of one’s spiritual life.
Diwali - the Hindu festival of lights - is an indication to search
the inner light within us. Ramzan Eid teaches the lessons of
abstinence and sacrifice. The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak

The Liberator [ 5 ]
(the founder of Sikh religion) helps us find the treasure trove
within us and Christmas reminds us of the teachings of Jesus,
his great beatitudes and quality of forgiveness. Whatever be the
festival, it symbolizes the same thing, though the words are
different. All religions say the same thing - The Ultimate Truth.
Let us understand the real indication of each festival. Let
‘understanding’ arise in the society through these festivals.
When ‘understanding’ arises, then the Satyuga (Bright Age or
Golden Era or Age of Truth) arrives. The Satyuga has ushered
in our lives and so on the blessed occasion of Christmas let’s
rejoice.

Thank you

The Liberator [ 6 ]
EVERY RELIGION HAS THE SAME GOAL

This booklet is not for Hindus or for Muslims, neither for

Jews nor for Christians, nor for a particular sect or religion. It
is for mankind. The ‘understanding’ of Truth here is most
important. Whether you are a Hindu, a Muslim, a Christian, a
Jew or a Sikh or from any other sect or religion, add
‘understanding’ to it. Meditate or practice penance if you want
to, but combine it with ‘understanding’. All these paths are for
spiritual life, for reaching the goal of enlightenment, be it by
meditations, service, charities or devotion. One has to have
‘understanding’ to reach the Ultimate Truth. The rituals and
rites in every religion or caste are important only if performed
with ‘understanding’. For example, if one is fasting it is good,
because one finds out about hunger through fasting, and also
gets a chance to find out that actually who is hungry – me or
my body? Fasting has its own importance, if done with
‘understanding’.
The Liberator [ 7 ]
Be it Jesus or Krishna, Mohamed or Nanak, all have told
the same things, only words were different. If Krishna used the
word Dharma, Jesus used the word 'The Kingdom of the Lord.’
The real meaning of Religion or Dharma is our innate nature,
our real nature, which is the ‘Real I.’ Likewise ‘Kingdom of the
Lord’ is the same thing, only the words are different. But in
the present times, there are conflicts and violence in the name
of religion due to difference in words. Hence it is said that
‘understanding’ should increase in the society. When the
‘understanding’, awareness or level of consciousness grows,
then Satyuga sets in.

What is Kalyuga?
People are under the illusion that there was once a
Satyuga or Golden Era when evil did not exist. The era
changed - gold turned into silver, bronze into iron - and thus
the Kalyuga arrived. But the fact remains that in all these ages
on this earth, there existed righteous as well as wrong doers,
but only the numbers differed. When does ‘Kalyuga’ arrive and
what are its symptoms? Let’s understand them in the following
order :
1) ‘Kalyuga’ sets in when belief in God diminishes,
reverence and faith is reduced to a minimum, and what
remains is just fear and lack of faith.
In a forest, there were three trees. All three trees had
different desires. The first tree desired that its wood be used to
make a fine cupboard wherein jewels and treasures be kept.
The second tree wanted a fine boat be made out of it in which
the kings and royals ride. The third tree wished to grow very
tall, so tall, that everyone could see it, and it could be near
God and be able to speak to Him. All three offered prayers to
God.
A woodcutter once came and cut all three of them. From
The Liberator [ 8 ]
the wood of the first tree, a big box was made and kept in the
horses’ stable as storage for hay. From the second tree, an
ordinary boat was made, and the third one was cut into logs
and kept aside. Now all the three trees are annoyed with God
and very unhappy, as their wishes had not been fulfilled.
Now look at the ways of the Lord. One day a child was
born in that stable. The parents had nothing in which to keep
the baby and the child by the name of Jesus was kept in the
box made from the first tree. How lucky is that tree in whose
folds lies the Son of the Lord, who is more precious than any
treasure or jewels! This made the tree realize that its prayer
was, in fact, answered.
Later on the Savior traveled in that small boat made from
the second tree and pacified the tempest. Then the second tree
realized that in that boat traveled the King of Kings or the
Emperor of Emperors.
And when Jesus was crucified, the wood of the third
tree was used. The cross was kept at the top of the mountain.
Then the third tree’s prayers too were answered as it was kept
very high and nearest to God and could talk to Him.
When the results of our prayers are in accordance with
our wishes, we turn into believers, else we turn into atheists.
We have forgotten how and whom to pray. Let us understand
this by an example - One day Emperor Akbar went game
hunting in the forest and as it was time for his prayers
(Namaz), he sat down to pray. While engaged in his
communion with the Almighty, a tribal woman suddenly
stumbled upon him and went away in haste without even
looking who it was; leaving him stupefied. Emperor Akbar was
then greatly enraged. After some time, he saw her returning
with her husband on the same path. The woman saw the
Emperor and bowed down to him in all humility. The Emperor
angrily reprimanded her that she kicked him and went away

The Liberator [ 9 ]
when he was offering prayers and therefore she will be
punished for this. At this the woman replied, “Your Majesty, I
was running madly in search of my husband and I didn’t
realize what happened. My husband is an ordinary mortal,
whom I was searching, but you were praying to God,
worshipping the Greatest Emperor; yet you could be so easily
distracted as to feel a minor blow!” Akbar immediately
understood and praised that woman telling her that she taught
him how prayer should really be.
2) When Truth is taken as a mockery, then it is to be
known that Kalyuga has arrived. There is no exact date or time
for Kalyuga to set in. There is no truth in the belief that earlier
it was Satyuga, and now it is Kalyuga, or that Kalyuga has
arrived, or was it there already or is it going to arrive? With
time, truth is lost and it becomes a mockery. It ends up as a
ritual or a custom. These are the signs of Kalyuga. How does
the truth turn into a mockery? Let’s understand this from a joke
- A friend tells another that he has a medicine that makes one
tell the truth. Out of curiosity, the other friend drinks that
medicine and shouts loudly that it is kerosene. The first friend
then replies, “Didn’t I tell you that a person speaks the truth
after drinking this medicine!” Now, how does this person
project the truth? Is truth such a thing to be compared to
kerosene and made fun of in such a crude manner? When such
a state arises, it is to be known that it is Kalyuga. It should not
be assumed that Kalyuga would come on such and such day.
It cannot be said that it has come this year or will come after
two or three years or so. Kalyuga is not the way people
imagine it to be. When you see things happening around you
in accordance to the definition of Kalyuga explained above,
then it is to be understood that Kalyuga has set in.
3) When people lose the power of listening to Truth, then
it should be known that Kalyuga has arrived. When and how
does this power get lost? When nothing is gained without
The Liberator [ 10 ]
giving in to deceitful means, then the power of truth is lost.
For example - a man falls into a gutter and shouts, “Fire! Fire!!”
Another person pulls him out and asks him, “Why did you
shout Fire?’ The rescued person replies, “If I had shouted,
‘Gutter! Gutter!!’ would you have come to my aid?” If the
listener is unlikely to respond to truth and if we have to resort
to falsehood to be heard then Kalyuga has set in. Jesus too had
said at that time, “Those who have ears should listen.” This
signified that only those who have that courage to listen to
Truth should listen and understand it.
4) When the sword of intellectual discrimination gets rusty,
then its Kalyuga. What is intellectual discrimination? It is the
capacity to know the right thing every moment. Intellectual
discrimination is being able to discern the truth. The sword of
intellectual discrimination gets rusty when it is unable to
differentiate between truth and falsehood or good and bad.
When the discriminative power within gets awakened, then
Satyuga has arrived. When intellectual discrimination has not
awakened and one forgets as to what is to be done according
to a given time, then it should be understood that Kalyuga has
set in.
5) When the eye to see miracles is lost, then it is to be
understood that Kalyuga has arrived. Today what kind of
miracles does man want? When he gets what he wants, he feels
that it is a miracle. We don’t have the eye to see so many
miracles happening around us, the vision that we had in our
childhood. During childhood, we used to keenly observe even
an ordinary ant’s movements as to where it goes, from where it
gets its food and where it stores it, the orderly fashion in which
it moves forming a line, etc. All those small things used to
amaze us. There were feelings associated with everything. Now
everything seems to be so familiar. When we see through the
eyes of Truth with ‘understanding’, everything would seem to be
a miracle. Jesus also performed several miracles in his life,
The Liberator [ 11 ]
which many people saw and praised. But when He was
crucified, the Son of the Lord who performed so many miracles
in his life, did not do anything to save Himself - Wasn’t this a
miracle in itself? Even while being crucified, he said, “Thy will
be done” or let Your wish be fulfilled. “God, let it be according
to your desire.” Is it a miracle when God fulfills the desire of
man or when a man fulfills the desire of God? Ponder over this
issue intently and once again be like a child. When seen through
the eyes of Truth, you will find miracles everywhere.

What is Satyuga?
When man is free from deceit and falsehood, he moves
towards Satyuga. What does it imply that Satyuga will come,
does it mean that such a time will approach, which will take
1000 years to come? Does it mean that one should keep
waiting that Satyuga, the Age of Truth, will arrive? Or it is here
and now already? Is it possible to experience it right now?
People are still trying to figure out what are its indications or
what is the science behind it. Or, whether those calculations
should be considered which are still being recounted that first
there was Satyuga when God walked the earth with his angels.
The earth itself was paradise. Then arrived Tretayuga or the
Bronze Age, the period when God incarnated as Lord Rama.
Dwaparayuga saw the advent of Lord Krishna and now
Kalyuga has set in. According to one system, 1250 years
constitute one Yuga (Era or Age) and there are four Yugas, and
so after 5000 years, the cycle will be repeated. This system has
been widely accepted. The assumptions and beliefs of people
that Kalyuga has arrived or is going to arrive are baseless.
Whether it is Kalyuga or Satyuga, everything exists right now -
in our thoughts, in our mind. The fact is that so many great
individuals, great souls, Sons of God, The Liberators or
Saviors, have lived on this earth and have always indicated
towards the Truth.

The Liberator [ 12 ]
THE BEGINNING OF CHRISTIANITY

Jesus was born in the village of Bethlehem (now in

Israel). His father was a carpenter. Jesus is known to people
as the Christ, the Messiah, The Liberator, The Savior or Son of
God. He was a Jew. Jews believed in the teachings of Moses.
The life and teachings of Moses are recorded as Old Testament
in the Bible. The meaning of Bible is ‘book’. In the Bible, the
account of the life and teachings of Jesus are recorded as New
Testament. Christians believe in both the Old Testament by
Moses as well as the New Testament by Jesus.
About 2000 years ago, Jesus attacked the false beliefs
and misconceptions of the people and gave them new
directives. This affected the financial gains of the rabbis
(priests) of those times. As the rabbis could not give up the
greed for money, they conspired against Jesus and the Savior
was crucified. They did not know that what they were nailing

The Liberator [ 13 ]
was only the body of Jesus. They were not aware that Jesus
would be resurrected and will teach mankind the lessons of
love for ages to come and will be called as the Liberator.
The true way of celebrating Christmas is to follow the
directives of Jesus and raise our level of consciousness to that
of Christ Consciousness.

Yours And Mine Christmas

By this we mean Merry Christmas to us all. The words
‘Our Christmas’ may arouse a doubt in some people that this
book could be for the Christian community and whether we
are trying to convert them to Christianity. How far can
ordinary human thinking go? What else can a man think? This
kind of thinking by the individual prevents the Christ from
being born; otherwise there is a possibility of the Christ being
born in every human body.

How Are We Celebrating Christmas?

People celebrate Christmas, but is it celebrated in the
right sense? They greet each other with “Merry Christmas,” but
do they know what ‘Merry’ means? Merry means happiness,
joy, ‘enjoy and be merry’. This day Jesus Christ was born.
How are we celebrating his birthday and how should we
celebrate? No one is celebrating in the right way and so you
too follow the same, but what is the right way to celebrate this
day?
There are millions who celebrate Christmas and million
others who do not. Both kinds of people are doing so without
awareness. Those who do not celebrate Christmas are doing
so believing that this is not our festival and for those who
celebrate it is only a reason to party, an occasion to enjoy the
festivities. It’s like someone celebrating Diwali, firing crackers,
but does not know why is all that being done. Bands are
The Liberator [ 14 ]
playing, greeting cards and gifts are being exchanged,
Christmas trees are being decorated with bulbs, cakes are being
cut. People are enjoying their parties. Thus Christmas is not
being celebrated in the right manner. If we were to celebrate
Christmas rightly, then we ought to understand certain things.
What happened on this day? This day the Messiah, the
Christ, Jesus, the liberator was born. The birth of the body
through which freedom and liberation was declared, whose
sacrifice benefits people all over the world even today.
Therefore we must know that there is only one secret behind
the creation of all festivals. If we understand that secret, only
then can we truly celebrate Christmas, otherwise it would all
be just external rites and rituals. Years would come and go,
Life would come to an end, and people would never know
why are these festivals created? Why is someone’s birthday
celebrated around the world? If we are bringing the Christ’s
teachings in our life, only then are we truly celebrating
Christmas.
So how do I celebrate Christmas in the right manner?
There are many answers to this question. Everyone may have
an answer according to one’s level of consciousness. Very few
will be able to answer from the highest level of consciousness
or Supreme Consciousness. Supreme Consciousness means
‘Christ Consciousness.’ How many people would be able to
answer from the highest level of consciousness? Because if you
have to answer from the highest level of consciousness, then
you will have to develop that level of awareness within you,
only then you will get the right answers; otherwise the
answers will be from the individual consciousness (Ego or
feeling of apparent separateness from all others).
The birth of Christ means birth of Supreme
Consciousness, birth of awareness and awakening. To
celebrate this day, it should first be understood who was

The Liberator [ 15 ]
actually born on that day. And he should be given the gift of
his choice, for that’s what is done on a birthday. When you
are invited to someone’s birthday party, what gift do you give?
Is that gift your personal favorite or of the recipient’s liking?
You have to get into that person’s consciousness and think
about what he likes and give that to him.
To celebrate Christ’s birth, one has to get into His
consciousness (Christ Consciousness) to know what he likes
and give him the same. Did he like the crucifixion that was
given to him? People crucified him because they were ignorant
and never knew why Christ was born. Crucifixion was given
to him as a gift because the individual’s consciousness (ego)
was functioning there. After many centuries someone thinks
about it, “Oh! That was the Supreme Consciousness, and why
was that punishment given to him? What should have been
given to him?” How to celebrate the birthday of Christ? How
to awaken that Christ Consciousness or Supreme
Consciousness? How to get into others’ consciousness? You
have to contemplate upon these matters. From morning till
night, you move about in your own consciousness, and you
don’t have to even think about it. All this happens
unconsciously, but to get into others’ consciousness, one has
to be totally aware.
We should know how to celebrate Christmas in the true
sense, because to understand Jesus, one has to become Jesus
himself. This great opportunity that we have got here should
enable us to know the real meaning.
Followers of Jesus had said some things about him. But
the people who were told these things made their own
interpretations according to the level of their understanding. No
one was ready to dig deep enough to find the true meaning.
Now there are conflicts between religions. Both the sides lack
this ‘understanding’. Both are stuck with their own

The Liberator [ 16 ]
interpretations that, "No! Jesus would not have said this," "No,
Jesus has said this, take a look at this book, read that book."
But how would you understand that they haven’t actually
understood? The awareness of Supreme Consciousness is
lacking there, so they are unable to understand.

Why are festivals created?

There are only a few things that are celebrated in this
world that are remembered by people. What are those things?
Festivals are not created for any petty reason. Festivals are not
created if someone builds a mansion. No one celebrates a
festival on a particular day when a monument like Taj Mahal
was built or a grand palace was built. These are not celebrated
because of the fact that they are done for personal reasons.
They are not impersonal. Those are personal property of
someone. Festivals are created when there is declaration of
liberation. When people feel that this reminds them of their
ultimate goal in life (liberation), only those occasions are
celebrated as festivals. The launching of a movie does not
become a festival. The beginning of a new television serial
does not become a reason for celebrating a festival. A dream
that one sees does not become a festival. Someone returning
after full recovery from an intensive care unit also does not
become the cause for a festival. Festivals are created when
someone does something or someone is born after which
people understand and attain liberation. After which there was
a revolution in the world. After which meaningless rituals came
to an end. Self-realization happened, people experienced Self
or Truth. People were reminded of the true purpose of human
birth in this world. Festivals are created with only this reason
in mind. Whether it is an anniversary or a centenary of a saint
or any other festival like Diwali, Ramzan Eid, Guru Nanak
Birth Anniversary or Christmas, you would see a common
reason in all as to why the liberators came into this world.

The Liberator [ 17 ]
Rama, the liberator, came - to liberate us from Ravana
Krishna, the liberator, came - to liberate us from Kansa
Guru Nanak, the liberator, came - to liberate us from
Ignorance
Christ, the liberator, came - to liberate us from Sin
All were liberators but one is mistaken if one thinks due
to ignorance that only one of the liberators is the greatest and
all others are insignificant, wrong or of no consequence. Some
preachers who would run religion as business propagated the
teachings that their philosophy is right and others are wrong
and that belief in certain things would be the only way to
heaven and the rest would doom in hell. The very reason for
which the liberators came into the world is defeated when a
handful of communal groups run religion as business and
repudiate the teachings of these great saviors. Festivals like
these remind us that we are indeed celebrating Christmas as it
ought to be if we believe in the teachings of Christ and are
applying them in our life.

Birthday gift
Birthdays can be instrumental for thinking and meditating
as to what gift should be given to The Christ. When people
do not recognize the Supreme consciousness, they end up
giving the wrong gift. If you recognize it right, then you would
give the right gift. You would be able to give the right gift
when you attain that level of consciousness. How would you
know what the other person wants? Only when you put
yourself in the shoes of others would you know that. When
you want to give a gift to someone, what do you do? You ask
a person close to him or her to recommend what he or she
likes. That person tells you that he or she likes such and such
a thing. Give away your sins to the Christ, this is what He

The Liberator [ 18 ]
would like. Give away your bad habits, your tendencies and
vices, your ignorance to Him. These are the things He would
like. When you love someone you would gift what he or she
likes even if it is very expensive. You would say ”It doesn’t
matter if it is expensive, since my friend likes it and it is her
birthday, I would give it.” In the name of love, you would
happily bear a little trouble. If you surrender all your bad
habits, your ego, your ignorance and obey His command, then
that would be the right gift to Jesus. That would be celebrating
Christmas in the true sense.
If you truly recognize Jesus, the liberator who came into
this world, because of whom the Bible was written and
because of whom millions are inspired today, what would you
give such a liberator? What do we really want to give? Or
should this be restricted to a particular community or religion
thinking it is not for us to give because we do not belong to
that religion? If that is the case, then we have not understood
the Christ Consciousness. The bodies may appear different
from outside, but the Supreme Consciousness in all the
liberators is the same.
Christmas is a reason to contemplate, to think what gift
can be given to Christ. Let us think and contemplate what kind
of gifts have we given till date? Now what should be given to
Christ? You would get the answer, “None of the gifts seem
right, it’s neither this, nor that.” Then we reach that state
wherein we are able to do just what the Consciousness wants
us to do. To fulfill the command will be the perfect gift because
the Consciousness provides us with the answer that this is the
right gift which is required from us - those who can give
should give, those who can understand should understand.

How to interpret the meaning of words

When Jesus used the phrase ‘Only those who have ears

The Liberator [ 19 ]
should listen,’ people who heard him must have thought that
we have ears, so why does Jesus say that? All have ears, no
one is deaf, but it is as good as not having them if the words
that are told are not heeded. How are the words that are
spoken to the ears taken? Were the words meant to be taken
literally or was there some deeper meaning that was being
conveyed?
When people don’t have ears (i.e. when people don’t
listen properly), then they want to be told as to what to do or
not to do and on which day. The phrase ‘Those who have
ears’ raises the level of consciousness. When the Christ
Consciousness awakens, then you don’t have to ask about do’s
and don’ts. All decisions will be taken from within regarding
what is the right thing to do and what decision should be taken
in a particular situation. When that awakening occurs, the
answers will always come from within and they will be the
right ones.
When people keep aside the old meaning and go by the
real meaning, then it can be said that they have ears,
otherwise people always take the literal meaning of words.
Only those who have ears are able to listen. Others refuse
immediately saying, “No! This is all nonsense, this is not
possible, this is wrong,” etc.
Christ was aware that everybody doesn’t have ears. Very
few people have ears and still fewer people were ready to lend
their ears (listen). Jesus had said, ‘A camel can pass through a
needle’s eye, but for a rich person, entry to the Kingdom of
Lord is difficult.’ When people read his teachings, they feel that
Jesus was against the rich.
Jesus said, ‘Those who have ears should listen.’ Most
often people are offended by the language. Jesus said, ‘Do not
cast pearls to pigs, they would only trample on them.’ What
this signified is that pigs and pearls don’t go together. They

The Liberator [ 20 ]
won’t understand. Therefore first inspect, whom are you giving
the pearls of wisdom? Would the person really understand it?
You would give the pearls of wisdom, but is the level of
consciousness of the recipient high enough? This is the way
Jesus put his point of comparison. These and many such
examples that Christ gave in a direct manner aggravated the
rabbis and they could not tolerate them.
Jesus imparted knowledge in the language of the
common folk. Those who know the Truth, always speak in the
common man’s language. They don’t think that they should
speak in a refined language, which very few can understand,
so as to gain appreciation. If one were to express in today’s
language what was told in those times, it would be like this,
‘Become rich but don’t have the ego of being rich, listen
carefully.’ Because it will be hard to realize the Truth if you
have a strong feeling of ownership of wealth or the ego of
being rich. The one, who has nothing or doesn’t consider
anything as his own, can easily realize the Truth.
Jesus saw the condition of the rich in those times. They
didn’t want to listen and hence were told so in such words.
This did not mean that he was against the rich, but he knew
that the rich knew only the language of money and were
obsessed with it. This becomes the impediment and hence
these types of words were used. Whatever you see, you start
getting thoughts related to it.
About 2000 years ago Jews lived in the land of Palestine
(Israel). Those were the dark days of Kalyuga as it was the
empire of the Greeks and Romans. The Greeks were the big
traders. They knew fully well how to exploit the people. The
Jews were getting squeezed between the Greeks and the
Romans. The Romans had the army and were in power, and
business was in the hands of the Greeks. The condition of the
Jews in between the two was very bad. They were farmers.

The Liberator [ 21 ]
The Greek traders used to cheat them in weights and
measures.
In those times, what did the Messiah tell the people? He
guided them in common man’s language that was easily
understood. He cited with the help of examples and incidents
that were common in those times. As people were farmers, the
Messiah used the examples related to farming to guide them
towards the path of truth.
For example: A farmer was carrying seeds with him.
Some seeds fell on the road and some fell on the rocky terrain,
some fell on good soil but were enmeshed in thorny shrubs,
and the rest were sown in the fields. Then Jesus told as to
what happened with those seeds. The birds ate the seeds that
fell on the road. Those seeds that fell on the ground with
stones underneath the soil grew up into plants quickly as they
could not go much deep. Due to the heat, they withered as
soon as they came up. Plants that don’t have deep roots, that
do not get enough water, grow fast and die fast. These plants
wither away quickly. The third type that fell into the thicket
grew out together with the thorns but could not grow
adequately due to the thorns. And the fourth type that were
sown in the field grew and produced seeds in hundreds and
thousands. People who were with the Messiah, asked him
privately, "What is the meaning of this example that you
gave?" Then he explained to them as to what he meant by soil.
Different soils are different kinds of people who have come to
listen to the Truth. What are the seeds? Seeds are Knowledge,
Wisdom, Understanding, Truth.
So what should be given to Jesus on his birthday? Should
he be given what he wanted - to abide by his instruction to go
to God again and again? Otherwise we go to many
places…we go to the theatre, even if no tickets are available
yet we buy them by illegal means by paying higher amount.

The Liberator [ 22 ]
That is why people should be made to understand what Jesus
wanted. What did the Supreme Consciousness want? If that
consciousness is awakened within us, then we will be able to
feel what that Consciousness really wants. If this starts
happening, then you will not play the game of words. You will
understand that those were just words, a medium of
communication, and a method of expression. This method was
also used so that only those who have the thirst may continue,
while others who don’t want to think at all may quit. But some
stayed back who wanted to know the meaning of what was
said, they wanted to understand the depth of what was being
told.
Those who start listening and paying attention, ask,
“What was the meaning of what was said today? We want to
understand it in greater depth.” This questioning is very
beneficial in life; we should understand this better and use it
in the right way. The meaning behind the words should be
taken, or else people take the literal meaning of words and get
confused. People of other religions assert that Jesus said so and
so and he should not have said that, he has said something
wrong. This is what gives rise to conflicts between religions.

Exploitation of Jews by Romans and Greeks

Palestine was ruled by Romans and Greeks and inhabited
by Jews. The Roman army, the Greek traders and the Jewish
priests mastered the art of creating meaningless rituals. The
business of priesthood would sustain only when various new
rituals are created and such that people would not remember.
These rituals would be made in huge numbers and difficult
enough for the priests to be invited to perform them. If these
were simple and easy to understand, nobody would invite the
priests and would perform so themselves. When people were
to get married, there were so many rituals that one could not
do by themselves and therefore these priests had to be called.
The Liberator [ 23 ]
And thus the Jews were entangled in the trap of rituals by the
priests and taxes by the Greek traders. Jews had to work for
the traders. Those who would engage in fishing had little left
for themselves. The Jews were already troubled by poverty and
to add to that hundreds of rituals were enforced upon them
under the pretext of ‘cleansing from sin’ or ‘holy bath’ or
things to do and not to do on specific days, limitations from
traveling to certain directions on certain days. They had to
think and worry about all the rituals told on a specific day.
Those who had money would comfortably engage in those
rituals but it was the poor who were being grinded in the
process. What could one do if there was a new ritual every
day? People were fearful that something bad would happen in
their lives if they did not perform these rituals. The priests
would constantly keep them under this fear to sustain their
business of priesthood. So this was the vicious cycle that the
Jews were caught in. Jesus came to break this vicious cycle.

Liberation from the bondage of actions

Jesus asked, “When the son asks bread from the father,
will he give him a stone to eat?” Then the answer is, “No, he
will not.” “If the son asks for fish, will the father give him a
snake?” The answer is, “No, he will not.” “If the son wants an
egg, will the father give him a scorpion?” The answer is, “No,
he will not.” If an ordinary father won’t do this, why would
the Supreme Father do so? But people get entangled in so
many misconceptions. They think that if this talk is about
eating fish or eggs, then it is wrong and these types of actions
create bondage. They think that if one eats 100 fish, then one
has to take at least 3-4 births for atonement of the sin they
have committed. They keep calculating as to how many
killings they can get redemption from in a single birth. If you
have eaten so many fish; that means so many births will be
spent in redemption of that sin. People go on making many

The Liberator [ 24 ]
such calculations. They keep on spinning such tales because
those who are listening don’t have ears, i.e. don’t have
understanding. Those listening to such things just keep nodding
their heads and don’t kill fish their entire lives, but don’t mind
killing mankind instead.
There is a huge difference in the level of consciousness
of a fish and a child. If asked for a choice, one would always
choose that which has a higher level of consciousness and give
it more importance. But people take the literal meaning of
words. For people whose staple diet is fish, if you ask them to
stop eating fish, it would become very difficult for them.
Let us understand the importance of higher
consciousness. When something is said, it is said with
reference to certain circumstances, but those who don’t have
ears (understanding), implement the same thing in every
condition. They take the literal meaning of words and keep on
following the same all their life, due to which their level of
consciousness never rises. Their whole life they are careful as
to not even kill a mosquito, and hence they are very obsessed
with cleanliness with the idea that even their sitting in a given
place should not harm any living organism. Throughout their
life, they are concerned only about external things. People keep
on following lots of rituals like one cannot eat after sunset, so
they hurry up others, scolding someone, hitting someone,
telling them, “Make it fast, I am feeling hungry. The sun is
about to set, after such time I can’t eat a cake.” By giving
importance to such a trivial ritual, they are making people, i.e.
higher consciousness, suffer. It has been never recommended
to torment the higher consciousness to save lower level of
consciousness. Merely accounts of actions are being tallied
from dawn to dusk. “Now what’s the time? And what should
be done at this time?” “Now you can’t do this or you can’t do
that at this time” and so everyone is taken to task, upsetting

The Liberator [ 25 ]
both the children and parents. If the Supreme Consciousness
is awakened within us, then one can say Christmas is
celebrated in the right sense.
When the devotees celebrate something, there is an
‘understanding’ to it. Celebrations take place and decorations
are done due to this joy. But after centuries, only the
decorations remain, other things vanish, i.e. only rituals remain,
the true meaning behind the celebrations is lost. When
consciousness is awakened, then the zeal for expression arises.
The consciousness due to which expression took place was
important. But later the consciousness vanishes, only the drama
of expression remains. People will continue to celebrate with
fireworks, decorations, and Christmas tree, but it will be a tree
of false beliefs. So Christmas is celebrated, but not in the true
sense.

Mother Mary - Virgin Mother

In a certain book it was mentioned that a girl aged 15-
16 years whose name was Mary begot a child by the name of
Jesus and after the birth of Jesus she came to be known as
‘Mother Mary’. It was also said that Jesus was born to a virgin
girl. But no one can understand the true import of this. As
mentioned in a story, an angel appeared before Mary (Miriam)
and said that, “The Liberator will be born unto you and you
will be a virgin mother.” The marriage of Mary was to take
place with a person named Joseph. All these are narrated in
the story in such a way because the devotees wanted to project
Jesus in a different angle. They explained to people that, “Jesus
was born to a virgin mother, meaning thereby that he was
born out of purity. Jesus was not born out of desire or lust.”
There it was meant that when Supreme Consciousness was
born, it was not out of desire or lust of individuals. Otherwise
so many get married, but no one marries with the intention
that they want to give birth to the Highest Consciousness.
The Liberator [ 26 ]
Everybody thinks only about his or her own needs, setting up
their homes, etc. Children are just born in the process in the
course of time. Everyone marries keeping in mind his or her
ambitions, desires, and longings. People, who know the
greatness or importance of Mother Mary, worship her. They
give more importance to Mother Mary because she gave birth
to such Supreme Consciousness (Jesus) who in turn gave birth
to many more (imparted self-realization). Jesus never married
but even without getting married he gave new birth to many.
It is stated further in the story that the Lord appeared
before Joseph too and told him about this. At first, Joseph was
angry that how could this happen? Later he agreed. Then he
married Mary. But Jesus was born to a virgin mother.
The body-mind mechanism of Virgin Mary was ready to
give birth to Jesus. When one is totally surrendered to God,
one says, “My body-mind mechanism is ready. Let God make
use of it as HE wishes.” When this feeling awakens in
someone, then that is a state similar to that of Mother Mary.
Jesus was born to a virgin mother. If you contemplate in depth
over this you would know what is required to be able to give
birth to Jesus. How pure and pious it should be. Only such
purity can give birth to Jesus. How can Jesus be born within
us? How can we become pure, how can we become pious?
Without a husband, i.e. without the personal identification of
being a separate individual, without ego, how do we give birth
to Jesus? The words ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ are substituted for
‘ego’ to explain how Jesus can be born without them. When
Jesus has to be born, then how should be the level of
consciousness of the mother? Because the virtues of a child
begin to develop in the womb itself.
To understand Mother Mary, one has to understand that
feeling. If that feeling starts developing within you, then you
are able to understand Mother Mary. Then you can say, “Yes,

The Liberator [ 27 ]
thy will be done.” Sometimes this feeling arises intensely. We
should understand the meaning of giving birth without the lust
of the individual. People dispute over the literal meaning of
words. Till today, the argument has not resolved about what
had really happened. People don’t know the truth as the events
in the story took place more than 2000 years ago. After the
lapse of so many years, people are unable to understand.
Devotees write some things out of their feeling of devotion; but
people don’t understand what it really means. The birth of
Supreme Consciousness or ‘Christ Consciousness’ means the
birth of that Pure or Holy One within; after which you are
completely transformed.

Mother Mary was the realized one before Jesus

Mother Mary was a realized soul. There, the self-
realization had already taken place, as in Mira. Before Jesus,
Mary had attained self-realization. She did not teach Jesus
anything; she just fulfilled the Lord’s wishes silently and passed
away. But when Self expressed itself through Jesus, that
expression came into light. That is why people remember Jesus
and He is widely known. Mother Mary was chosen for giving
birth to Jesus (The Supreme Consciousness). Mother Mary
means the virgin, holy and pure consciousness, wherein there
is no adulteration of the individual (ego). Otherwise God
would want to talk through you, but your ego interferes, “Oh!
How am I talking like this? How do such words come out of
me?” Many a time people get these kinds of experiences after
attaining a higher level of consciousness. In the beginning, it
is seen as to what is happening. Later, many find it astonishing
that such words are coming out of them which even they don’t
know. This happens only for a little while, but in Mother Mary
such expressions of ego stopped completely, that means she
had become totally receptive (eligible). The Supreme
Consciousness could be born through her because the feeling

The Liberator [ 28 ]
of submission, ‘Thy will be done’, was already present in her.
People think that this is the teaching of Jesus, but actually it is
Mother Mary’s teaching that was brought out through her
actions. How did Jesus get this ‘understanding’, how was it
transferred to him? When the child is in the mother’s womb,
the ‘understanding’ or wisdom that the mother has affects the
child. At that time if the mother is full of jealousy, hatred, and
resentment, or is always engaged in quarrels with her in-laws,
how can Jesus be born there? He cannot be born there.
Today how many would marry with the understanding
that the child which would be born through them would be
dedicated for the service of the world and not for their own
well being? How many people marry with this understanding
that we have to give birth to such a child? In case of Mary,
the child came through the pious intention that the child
should bring a revolution in the world. How many parents
give birth to a child with such understanding? Most marry
keeping in mind their personal interests, their individual aims
and to continue the family tree. Most people also marry
thinking that the child would do all that they could not do
themselves.
Jesus was born in Nazareth, where Mother Mary lived.
When the child was in the womb, there was a population
survey being conducted and therefore it was announced that
everybody should return to his or her birthplace, to the village
of their origin. Mother Mary was originally from Bethlehem
and therefore she started her journey in that direction. Since
they could not find any place on the way, Jesus was born in a
cave. Mary was in the state of surrender. In such state all that
Jesus went through is what is required to get a Liberator ready.
People worship Mother Mary because she had completely
surrendered. Whether it is Mira or Mary, both were in the
same state. Mira gave back Krishna and Mary gave back Jesus.
Both played the same role but in different ways. Both had
The Liberator [ 29 ]
become the flute. Flute means emptiness and just think of the
kind of music that will be born of it. What one should
understand by this is that Jesus should be born within us, the
Christ consciousness should awaken within us.
Mother Mary had completely surrendered - now let the
Supreme Consciousness do what it wants through this body
and we will not interfere. The same consciousness was
awakened within Joseph and he was given that ‘understanding’
since he was also a devotee of God. Hence the pair of Mary
and Joseph was chosen. They were not marrying with the
ambitions and desires of the individual. There, the marriage
was for begetting the Liberator. There it was a pure feeling,
total submission, where the ambitions of the individual did not
appear at all.
How can these things be explained in a story? If you
were given the task of making someone understand all these
things, what kind of a story would you have made? Perhaps
you too would say that an angel appeared and said, "God will
be born through you" to convey that Jesus was born in a
sacred environment. And that is how a story is made. Other
children are not born this way.

It was being said that Jesus was great

Why do people want to show Jesus is great? This is
because they are not able to express His greatness through his
teachings. Because, those who have tried to explain his
teachings have themselves not understood them. The greatness
of Jesus should be highlighted through his teachings as to from
what level of consciousness the answers might have come.
Jesus was in the Supreme state of consciousness. If someone
is able to explain this level of consciousness, only then can he
explain the greatness of Jesus.

The Liberator [ 30 ]
THE SECRET HIDDEN IN PRAYER

Jesus taught the importance of prayer

Jesus highlighted the importance of prayer. But today
prayers are being offered in Christianity without contemplating
the underlying reason. Did Jesus want to stress only on prayer
or did he want to convey something else, but people did not
understand it?
Let us understand this by an example. There are two test
tubes – the ones that you find in a chemical laboratory. These
two tubes of glass are connected through a thin pipe. When
you fill one tube, the other tube also fills up. Whatever level
you fill one tube to; the same level is seen in the other tube as
well. You have the intention of filling one tube, but the other
tube gets filled equally on its own. If you perform such an
experiment, you will understand that this really happens. We

The Liberator [ 31 ]
pour water in one tube and it comes up to the same level in
the other tube as well. It will never be the case that there will
be more in one and less in the other. The same quantity will
appear simultaneously on both sides.
What do the two tubes indicate? The first tube indicates
Prayer. The second tube indicates the Kingdom of the Lord, i.e.
Tejasthan1 or Experience of Self, understanding, enlightenment,
- of Christ Consciousness through which one enters the
Kingdom of the Lord.
If the second tube is to be filled, then it cannot be done
so by directly filling it with water, because people won’t
understand it. If He had started with the second tube directly,
then whatever little has been understood so far, would have
been lost too. No one would have known Christianity today.
If He had spoken first on the second tube (Experience of Self),
then nobody would have known Jesus. If the predicament of
Jesus is to be understood, then that kind of consciousness has
to be brought within.
When it was said that the first tube should be filled first,
it meant that prayer should be offered first. Continue to pray
on and on. Now what is actually happening due to persistent
praying? Something else is also happening along with the
prayers. Prayers are being offered to emphasize the activities
happening in the second tube. The phrase "Pray and then you
will learn the art of praying" was repeatedly used. In fact, a
time comes when you understand prayer in its totality. At that
time, you will understand how the prayers are answered. Then
you are told to pray for getting Experience of Self (inner
experience or liberation).

1
Tejasthan signifies our center, our origin, which is taken to be the
seat of experience of Self within us. It is grossly considered to be in
the area of the heart.

The Liberator [ 32 ]
Jesus said, “Whatever you ask, you will get.” That is why
he instructed to go to the lord time and again. To explain the
significance of this point he gave an example in the language
of the common people. There was this lady who would go to
the judge to plead that she be heard as soon as possible so
that the truth surfaces and the case is resolved and closed. She
kept pursuing the judge every now and then. The judge saw
this lady who would frequent so many times and thought
about what people would say if he does not answer her plea.
Further he felt that it does not matter much to him if he
responds to her pleas or not. But since she is pleading for so
long, there is no harm in responding to her appropriately. If
an ordinary judge can do this, then think of what the Supreme
Judge (God) could do. When people listen to such parables,
they understand why it is important to pray and praise God
time and again.
As we are not eligible for what we want to ask, we
don’t ask for it. And we don’t even know how to ask. For this,
one has to be taught how to ask. Praying is asking. By praying,
a person gradually learns how to ask. After seeing the results
of what you have been doing repeatedly, you will say, "Oh!
This should have been asked this way. Wishes get fulfilled by
asking in this manner. It does not happen if there is ego."
When you reach the highest state, then it becomes very easy.
One has only to pray only for self-stabilization, and that’s it.
(Self-stabilization is permanent stabilization in that inner
experience or bliss).
Jesus emphasized the importance of Prayer again and
again. When you begin understanding Prayer, you will see that
Prayer is being highlighted. But you do not have to pray for
the sake of highlighting prayer, try and understand this. To
understand this, you need to be in that state to recognize what
is really going on, what is the purpose behind prayer.

The Liberator [ 33 ]
After liberation, when you pray, how will your prayer
be? For the first time, it will be a prayer in the true sense.
Before that, you did not know at all what a prayer is. Only
after you get what you prayed for, you have learned how to
pray. Then it will be apparent to you what you are asking for.
For instance, your prayer is, “I want a football…I want to play.
Since many days, I have not kicked anything and my feet are
itching.” When you play football, then there is peace at home;
you don’t feel like kicking anyone. If you don’t play, then you
feel like hitting this one, teasing that one, and harassing
someone. Why do people harass others? Because the itching,
the desire has not mitigated. That desire of hitting is not
fulfilled. It’s only out of ignorance that a person prays for a
football, to kick and play with it, to experience some calm and
comfort. If one has the desire to kick a football, one prays for
it. But one is not aware that inside the football are snakes and
scorpions. This implies that sometimes in our ignorance our
prayers are for such things that are actually harmful for us.
This is just an example. Actually nobody prays for a
football. Now when the Self Experience has begun, and if he
is asked to pray for a football, he is able to see the snakes and
scorpions inside it. How would he pray for it when he can
see what is inside the football? What we seek in a prayer,
along with it we also get what is hidden inside it.
When someone is praying in ignorance, you would think
as to how to make this person understand? By asking for these
wrong things, he is actually bringing harm to himself. But how
should that be explained to him? Or he should get that
‘understanding’, that perspective or that torch, in that light he
can be told, “Now you have the torch, focus its beam only on
the thing that you want.” In other words, after self-realization,
for the first time one knows what to ask for, as one was not
aware of it earlier and just kept on demanding. And then one

The Liberator [ 34 ]
would regret later as to why they are unhappy. Those who can
visualize this condition know what desires to fulfill and what
not. When children tell you, “I want this, I want that, I want
an ice-cream,” you know that it will cause trouble. That child
cannot see it, but you can visualize it because you know the
problems that can arise, the ailments that can follow. If you
happen to be a doctor, you would know very well. Yet, if the
kid is adamant, then how will you explain to him? “Well,
Okay! First let us teach him how to ask.” First, he is asking for
the wrong thing and when he doesn’t get it, he becomes
unhappy. Even if there is no scorpion, yet he is feeling the
sting. When the wish is not fulfilled, he feels the sting. Even if
the wish had been fulfilled, he would have still felt the sting
and so it is better to meet his demands. But one should have
some ‘understanding’. Now pray for the highest and see you
got what you wanted. Now ask for Self Experience, and the
person agrees. Because the real intention of prayer was to ask
for Self Experience (Liberation), but the individual wouldn’t be
able to understand what is the Experience. He is unable to
imagine it. Football at least is visible, it has patches, it has a
number of hexagons, and they look good. And he has seen
people playing football and rejoicing with the trophy.
Everybody knows what happens because they have seen the
live telecast of football matches. But Self Experience is
something that cannot be seen. What is it in the real sense?
For that, one is taught to pray for football, but in reality it is
preparation for learning to pray for that Experience. Here is the
prayer that Jesus offered to the Lord to attain such experience.

PRAYER
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name;
Thy Kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;

The Liberator [ 35 ]
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory,
Now and forever.
Amen.
Such prayer free of deceit will lead us to the path of self-
realization or liberation.

Enter The Kingdom of the Lord Alive

First enter into the Kingdom of the Lord, and then you
will get everything else. This phrase has been used repeatedly.
But what has been assumed is that after death, there is a
Kingdom of the Lord, in which we should gain entrance. If we
do good deeds now, we shall be able to enter it. If we don’t
do good deeds, we will be denied the entrance in the Kingdom
of God. Now people are engaged in preparation by converting
others into Christians. They say "If you have converted so
many, then you have access to the Kingdom of the Lord." But
they are unable to understand that they won’t be able to enter
the Kingdom of the Lord by converting people into Christians,
but only by becoming Christ themselves can they be stabilized
in the Kingdom of the Lord.
All these teachings can be seen in the parable of the
mount. Kingdom of God can be received by those who
surrender and in whom the ego has been eliminated. Kingdom
of God is that which is within us, the ‘Tejasthan’ within us.
Those who could understand this could benefit out of it and
the rest kept imagining that something is going to happen
externally and the kingdom of lord would come that would
never end. But Jesus was talking about the kingdom that is
within. Jesus said, “Children would enter this kingdom easily.”

The Liberator [ 36 ]
‘Children’ here signifies the absence of ego, the absence of
contrast mind or the judging and comparing mind. ‘Children’
also implies those who keep faith very easily. If you promise
your child that you would buy him a bike, he would go to
sleep without a worry. He would not doubt whether you
would really buy him a bike or not. There is no doubt there.
On the other hand if this was promised to an adult, then he
would have numerous doubts including what are your
intentions, whether you have enough money to buy it, whether
you are really serious about it, etc. He would not be able to
sleep with all these thoughts whereas a child would sleep
peacefully, assured that if father has promised, it will be done.
Therefore Jesus said, “Children would enter the kingdom
easily.”
It is easy to make a Christian, but very difficult to make
a Christ because before that one has to become Christ. And
after becoming Christ, even this desire no longer exists that
‘Now I am the Christ, I can enter the Lord’s Kingdom.’ But the
entry has already been made; even while being alive; don’t
think of it after death at all.
In those days, people were unable to comprehend the
true meaning of the phrase ‘the Kingdom of the Lord’. In
today’s language, ‘Tejasthan’ is the word for ‘Kingdom of the
Lord.’ They wanted to emphasize one thing (Self Experience)
and for that purpose they laid stress on some other thing
(Prayer). But, that other thing has become everything since
then. Now only prayers are going on. It’s a great thing if used
for attaining Self Experience, only then can it be said that
prayers have been successful. When prayers are done
repeatedly and requests are made often, they are bound to get
fulfilled. When you ask for bread, you won’t get stones.
Prayers would be definitely answered, but after that what
should be done? We should move ahead as well. People
could not progress from there and hence there are no true
The Liberator [ 37 ]
followers of Jesus. Those who can really understand Christ and
follow his teachings in their entirety can give birth to Christ.
They alone can celebrate true Christmas within them.

Seeking forgiveness – An opportunity to seek liberation

Jesus blessed even those who were evil and sinful.
People questioned Him when he blessed even prostitutes.
Jesus never answered them directly, just demonstrated through
examples - There was a man who had two sons. The younger
one lost all his money due to his bad habits. He then filed a
case in the court against his father to claim his share of
property. The elder one was very annoyed with this, but the
father agreed to give the younger one his share. He left with
his share and after many years returned after losing all his
money. When the father heard that he has come back to regret
for what he has done, he rushed to receive him. He welcomed
him with a band of musicians and arranged for everyone to eat
and celebrate.
The elder son who was working in the fields heard this
and was upset that his father never did any of this for him,
instead he was giving such special welcome to his sinful son.
There is no end to what ignorance can make a man think. He
asked his father, “Why are you doing this? The younger one
betrayed you and his conduct has been so bad, still you would
do all this for him. You never did this for me!” The father
replied, “You should be happy that your brother who was
dead has come alive.” The elder son could not say a word
further. What could he say? The father said, “You were always
in my sight and therefore you would assume that I did not do
much for you, but that is not true. Don’t you know that the
father worries more about those who are evil and sinful?”
Even those who sin are granted the right to seek
forgiveness. Even in his teachings, Jesus has said, “The lord

The Liberator [ 38 ]
forgives the sinners with love if they regret and seek
forgiveness.” Jesus has explained the importance of regretting
and seeking forgiveness. Those who go to church, confess and
seek forgiveness, are forgiven by the lord. Regretting does not
mean that you just ask the lord for forgiveness for your sins.
Regretting really means sharing with the lord the details of
your sin or how you troubled someone. Jesus taught people to
pray in the right manner because they would only ask for
forgiveness but not improve their conduct. Many a time people
ask, “Why should we talk about the details, the lord knows it
anyway.” This is to be done because when you verbalize your
sins in detail, you feel the responsibility of coming out of them.
If you just say that without really meaning it, it will be of no
use. When you feel responsible, you would correct yourself.
Otherwise we keep hurting people and apologize by saying,
“Sorry.” Is this confession? Is this repentance? Not at all. This
will not bring any result. Saying sorry is not enough. You
should talk out the details and let the person know how you
did this wrong to him and then seek forgiveness. When you
confess fully, you feel responsible and the person too will
understand your feelings. Simply saying sorry sounds
mechanical and would not bring the result. When you seek
forgiveness and the person says that he does not need your
apology, or he is not hurt, you don’t worry, etc., you should
still insist that you were wrong and therefore be forgiven. God
does not want that I should be committing such mistakes again
and therefore I should be forgiven. This is the right way of
repentance and seeking forgiveness.
Think of a world where people can easily repent since
even saying ’sorry’ is difficult for many as it hurts their ego!
Jesus explained that sinners too should get the opportunity to
repent. Those who repent in the right manner, God forgives
them with love.

The Liberator [ 39 ]
The eyes to see miracles are lost
Every child has eyes - eyes that can see miracles. We
have lost those eyes (innocence) and hence we are not children
anymore. As we grow older, do we feel anything as a miracle?
When we were kids, we trailed the movements of an ant to
know from where does it bring the food and where does it go.
On the way, if it met another ant, what do they talk about
with each other, what do they discuss? All these seemed like
miracles. Even an ant feels hungry; does it mean there is life
in it? Does it also breathe? It felt like a miracle. But today,
does it feel like a miracle? Today we are familiar with
everything. Someone says, “See, what a sunrise! What colors!!”
But you say, “Yes, I know.” Whatever you see, you say, “I
know this…I know that.” We don’t feel excited about anything.
Nothing seems new. No emotion arises at all. But if you look
in a child’s eyes, you see how they sparkle. For him,
everything is like a miracle.
A hunter bought himself a new dog. He took him along
to hunt in the forest. The hunter killed a bird that fell into the
water and the dog went walking on the surface of the water
and brought the bird back. The hunter was astonished, “Oh!
What a miracle! A dog walking on water!!” Then he thought
perhaps he had not seen properly, and so he killed another
bird. The dog walked upon the water and brought that bird
too. The hunter quickly called his neighbor, “Look! What a
miracle!” Then he killed a third bird and the dog went running
on the water. The hunter looked at the neighbor and asked,
“What do you think?” The neighbor replied, “What do I think?
Perhaps, the dog does not know how to swim - poor
creature!” The hunter exclaimed, “Ah! You call that a poor
creature? You just witnessed a big miracle happening before
you and you say that the poor thing does not know how to

The Liberator [ 40 ]
swim!” In this way, even miracles appear to seem very
ordinary because people have their own ideas or imagination
about miracles. What sort of miracles do people expect? If they
get what they want, then it is a miracle for them. We see so
many wonders happening around us, but we have lost the eyes
to see them. So we don’t feel they are miracles anymore.
This is what happens in Kalyuga, i.e. so many miraculous
things are happening around us, so many astonishing events,
but we never feel amazed. People become old too soon. Be it
a 15-year-old, 20 or 25-year-old, the eyes that can see wonders
are lost. But when one starts looking through eyes of Truth,
then one is able to see miracles again.
Jesus performed so many miracles, but people did not
understand them as miracles. When he was being crucified,
people asked why the Messiah who had performed so many
miracles does not do a miracle now? But is this not a miracle
in itself? And what does Jesus say? “Thy will be done.” He
tells the Lord that may your wish be fulfilled. Is it a miracle
when God fulfills man’s desire? Or when man is ready to
fulfill God’s wish, should that be called a miracle? What
should be called a miracle? The most popular but erroneous
definition of a miracle is that if a thing happens according to
my wishes, then it is miracle. If it is in accordance with my
mind’s desires, then it’s a miracle; otherwise it is not a miracle
for me. Once again, let us acquire those eyes that can see
miracles. Let us become like a child again. Children have that
Self Experience (inner experience) with them. Every child has
it. After 2 to 2-½ years, the contrast mind of the child starts
developing and that obscures the Self Experience, the real thing.
When the ‘I’ (ego - the feeling of apparent separateness from
others) begins to manifest in the child, then he identifies
himself with the body. And when the body becomes most
important, then Kalyuga has arrived.

The Liberator [ 41 ]
What is Kalyuga? When one is completely identified with
the body, thinks himself as only the body and nothing beyond
it, and the body itself becomes important.
When people are just imitating each other - if someone
is doing something, so let me also do it. One starts believing
the unreal to be real. If people are just following each other
blindly, then it should be understood that Kalyuga has set in.

JESUS -
THE WISE, THE CONTEMPLATING,
THE REVOLUTIONARY,
THE MIRACULOUS, THE ILLOGICAL

The Wise Jesus

A fair was organized every year in Jerusalem. Many
scholars would come and participate in intellectual
discussions. Jesus liked it. He would listen to such things since
his childhood. There were not many facilities to travel in those
days. People used to travel on foot in groups. Once Joseph and
Mary were traveling back home, they did not see Jesus around
and thought that he might be coming back with another group.
But Jesus was not to be found and this made them worry.
They went back to Jerusalem to find Jesus sitting amidst the
intellectual discussions in a church. They both asked Jesus,
“Were you not concerned about us, were you not aware of
how painful it would be for us to lose you?” Jesus replied to
his mother, “Don’t you know that I have to stay at my father’s

The Liberator [ 43 ]
house? You do know it.” Mary was shaken and she recalled
who Jesus is and how he came into her womb.

The Contemplating Jesus

Akin to the naming ceremony in Hinduism, there is a
ritual called ‘baptism’ among Christians. Just like people feel
sacred by bathing in the Ganges in India, John the Baptist
would baptize people in the east of Israel, bathing the people
and purifying them; inspiring people to live a life of purity.
When Jesus heard of this, He too went there. He asked John
to baptize him. John baptized him with water and thereafter
Jesus went into the state of self-stabilization (Tejasthan) for 40
days. What would have happened in those 40 days? What
contemplation would have taken place? In those 40 days, Jesus
became the contemplating Jesus. The gospel talks about many
things. Devil came and lured him with many things but Jesus
did not falter and did not listen to the devil. The devil comes
in many forms. But all this is just an attempt to explain the
inner things that went on within Him. Jesus did not succumb
to the deceitful talks of the devil, since he was ready for the
Truth. After He returned from there, Jesus started preaching
and spreading the word of God. He guided the people to the
mountains and taught them with the help of parables which
are now known as the sermon of the mount.

The Revolutionary Jesus

The revolutionary Jesus brought about a powerful
revolution. During those times, the priests had laid their tables
in the temple of God. Money was accepted under the tables.
Pigeons were sold in the temples. Jesus threw away the tables
and questioned what was happening in the temples. He
reprimanded the priests for turning the temple into a den of
dacoits. Temple is a place where people of all faiths are

The Liberator [ 44 ]
welcome and you have turned this into a den of dacoits. Such
straight words indicated the coming of revolutionary Jesus. This
adversely affected the financial gains of the priests. The priests
who were affected by this knew they were wrong but would
still hurt Jesus. They could not leave their greed for the easy
money they were making. Therefore the priests made a
complaint and conspired along with the rulers and thus
successfully managed to crucify Jesus.

The Miraculous Jesus

Jesus came to fore also as the miraculous one. He
performed many miracles of different kinds. Jesus said, “If you
believe you will be healed, then you will be healed. Believe
in the faith.” Those who came to Jesus with their sickness and
showed no faith, Jesus did not work on them. In those He did
not see faith, He did not show any miracles. He did not show
any miracles in his own neighborhood. He performed miracles
at places where he saw people showing faith. Miracles happen
when people deep inside have the faith. The sick were healed.
Those who were blind got their vision. Those who had lost
their consciousness Jesus regained it for them. Even the dead
were brought to life.
Once Jesus was delivering a sermon to a group of
people. News reached them that a relative of one of those
listening had died. As the person whose relative had died got
up to leave, Jesus said, “Sit down. There are many dead in the
village who would bury your dead relative.” These were such
straight words that they could hurt and offend people. Some
people went around backbiting and gossiping about Jesus, this
led to many wrong assumptions about Him amongst the
public. They could not identify the liberator and crucified him
on the cross. He performed many miracles before this day, but
He did not perform any miracle when he was on the cross.
Isn’t that the biggest miracle of all?
The Liberator [ 45 ]
The Illogical Jesus
Jesus stated some sentences that sounded illogical -
1. If someone asks you for a jacket, give him your shirt as
well.
2. Those who have will be given more; those who have
nothing will be deprived of.
3. Those who are in the front will be taken to the rear and
those in the back will come forward.
Such were His statements. They sounded illogical. But if
you think hard, contemplate on them and experience them,
you will realize them to be the truth. If we look at it with the
right understanding we see how true and great are these
beatitudes.

The Liberator [ 46 ]
THE REVOLUTIONARY
BEATITUDES OF JESUS

FIRST BEATITUDE :
Blessed are people those who are meek
because they will inherit the Kingdom of the Lord.
The first phrase of the first sermon of Jesus was, ‘Blessed
are people those who are meek, because they will inherit the
kingdom of the Lord.’ He did not mean ‘poor’ by the word
‘meek’. By ‘meek’, it was meant those who are submissive
(humble in spirit), where there is surrender, where the ego has
dissolved. The bliss that results from the feeling of surrender
and acceptance establishes the heaven within you.
‘The Kingdom of the Lord’ were the words used in those
times as they inspired people at that time. Inspiration or
motivation is necessary to begin with; it is like someone
coaxing children to get work done by them. In the same way,

The Liberator [ 47 ]
to make people attend sermons regularly, some enticement was
needed and hence it was said, ‘You will get the Kingdom of
the Lord.’ If 2000 years ago, you were to tell the children that
I will give you chocolates, then they would not have agreed.
At that time, chocolates were not an attraction for them.
‘Kingdom of the Lord’ means enlightenment, self-realization or
heaven in today’s terms.

SECOND BEATITUDE :
Blessed are those who mourn
for they will be comforted (given solace).
In the next adage, Jesus said, ‘Blessed are those who
mourn because they will be comforted.’ The meaning of this
phrase is that those who are disillusioned or dejected are
fortunate because something new will be created in this world
through these people. These are the people who bring about
revolutionary changes in the system of things. No changes take
place in the life of those who are never dejected or depressed.
If you were to tell someone, who longs for the Truth, that
you will give him something else instead of Truth, that person
won’t agree to it. That person will say, “I will be in despair
until I get the Final Truth.”
Solace means realizing the Ultimate Truth. People do get
consoled, but they continue to be the same. When they are
comforted, they get relief for a brief period of time, but do not
change. For example: When somebody expires, the neighbor
goes there to console his kin and says, ‘You see, it happens
with everybody. This is the Truth.’ And gives a big sermon and
then returns home. After some time, someone dies in that
neighbor’s house, and then the first person comes and gives
the same speech. But all in vain. By this one can understand
that the words that he spoke to his neighbor, the same words
were of no use to him because those words had offered only
some temporary relief.

The Liberator [ 48 ]
The Buddha experienced grief in his life when he saw
an old person, a sick person, a dead body, and a recluse. This
caused great agitation in him. Due to that agitation, his quest
began, and after that quest, the Truth dawned upon him,
which has been benefiting people till this day. He came to
know the secret of this universe. How an individual (ego – the
false self that makes one feel separate from all others) is
formed? What is the missing link? What is ignorance? Which
is that place where the awareness can be awakened so that one
would get freedom from misery? Which is the path to attain
liberation from misery?
The Buddha attained liberation from misery, this means
he got solace. It was a permanent consolation. He declared
that “Now I am free from misery.” Just anyone cannot proclaim
that ‘Now I am free from misery.’ Only the one who has
known the whole truth can make this declaration. People are
afraid of making such assertions thinking, “How can I proclaim
this? Because I am not sure what will happen tomorrow.
People will then question me that you had declared that you
are free from sorrow. What is the matter now?” Hence not
everyone can make such a proclamation.
Only the one who has known the secret from Self
Experience can make such a proclamation. The quest of
Buddha and Jesus began with grief and hence it was said that,
‘Blessed are those who mourn.’ When people get dejected or
distressed, they say, “Oh! Despair has set in. Why doesn’t it
go?” They search for temporary relief from that despair. They
go to bars, they party, read newspapers, listen to music, and
do many such things to get some relief from the hopelessness
or desperation; even if it is just for a little while. If they could
understand that this distress has come in their lives so that
they could learn from it, make use of it and achieve something
through it, then they would divert the distress in the proper
direction.
The Liberator [ 49 ]
THIRD BEATITUDE :
Those who are in the front will be taken to the rear
and those in the back will come forward.
‘Those who are in the front will be taken to the rear and
those in the back will come forward.’ By these words what
Jesus meant to say was that those in the rear implying those
who are prepared to lose are ready and eligible for truth
because they have the understanding that, ‘There is nothing to
lose.’ No one can defeat the person who is ready to lose. For
example: A person says, “I want to be defeated” and you
defeat that person. He would say, “This is what I wanted.”
That means actually he is a winner because that was what he
wished for and you helped him get what he wanted. The one
who is successful in fulfilling his desire is a winner and not a
loser. So no one can defeat such a loser as he always wins.
He is ever victorious who is ready to lose; such a person
derives maximum happiness in life. They say, “Come on, I am
ready to lose. Hence victory is always mine, no one can defeat
me” because there is nothing to lose. Till such a time that we
are under the spell of false beliefs, it appears as though ‘I will
lose this or that.’ The moment the false beliefs, the illusions
are cleared, defeat also turns into victory.
Those in the front go back because you know that the
condition of the people in front is such that they can go back
anytime, i.e. they can lose anytime. For instance, when some
people win the elections, you feel that they must be very
happy, but it is not so. After winning what goes on in their
minds is, “Now we have to maintain this position for five
years, and after five years we have to win the election again,
for which we have to begin preparations right now.” They are
under great stress. You can’t even imagine as to how tensed
they are. Initially, they feel that after winning, the strain will
become less, but it does not lessen. Pressure keeps on

The Liberator [ 50 ]
mounting. As they go on achieving success, the stress goes on
rising as well. The onlookers feel that after progressing so
much, they must be very happy, but the reality is something
else.
In all these, they are regressing, i.e. there is no internal
progress. You know what is happening in today’s politics. The
more power they get, the more corrupt they become. Even a
very good person gets corrupted. They even get others
murdered - "This one is against me, finish him off." Even a
good person turns evil; so by doing all this, does one progress
ahead or go backwards? He goes from bad to worse.
Outwardly, he appears to have progressed, but internally he
has regressed and degenerated.
These secrets are simple and if understood properly can
prove to be revolutionary. If these secrets are not understood
and imbibed in life, then it may seem that they do not concern
us. People feel that whoever utters such revolutionary phrases
is very dangerous and hence they want to crucify him first and
later think about worshipping him. Afterwards, a lot of things
happen in his honor to the extent that an entire religion or a
sect is created in his name, but at that time when he is actually
there, nobody values his teachings. Truth is made to look false
by saying that all this is nonsense.

FOURTH BEATITUDE:
I am the Son of God, you are too
Jesus said, ‘I am the Son of God, you are too.’ This was
the complete adage uttered by Jesus but people put a full stop
instead of a comma after ‘I am the Son of God’ believing that
Jesus is the Son of God, we are not. People believe the same
today and worship Him. He is the son of the Lord, hence He
will deliver (liberate) us, take us to Heaven, take us to the land
of Truth, take us to the highest plane. A lot of things were

The Liberator [ 51 ]
imagined by people. But whatever was done was only after
His death. People live in hell when alive and they imagine
about going to heaven after death.
People are worshipping Jesus taking only half of what
He said (half sentence) and are therefore slighting his
teachings. Those who want to run their business in the name
of religion would want that only incomplete teachings be told.
They run their business by telling incomplete teachings;
otherwise they won’t have any business.
Jesus said, ‘I am the Son of God, you are too. What I
can do, you can also do, rather much more.’ After this, the
sentence ended with a full stop. He said, ‘and much more’ so
that those baffled due to blind faith should be aware that, that
Consciousness is also within them, the wisdom is within
everyone.
For those who can’t understand at all, it is okay that they
at least start by believing only Jesus to be the Son of God. A
beginning has to be made somewhere. When idols were
originally created by those who were enlightened, they had
created them quite unwillingly and sorrowfully because they
knew idols were bound to create misunderstandings and
conflicts later on. But they felt something must be done for
those who don’t understand the Truth at all, a beginning has
to be made somewhere, therefore the idols were created.
Based on whatever Jesus said, some people asked, “If we
accept you as the Son of God, will it help our emancipation?”
Jesus saw that they were dimwitted and so for them he said,
“Yes.” They were people of lower level of understanding. But
those who were eligible for higher knowledge and wanted to
listen to the Truth, they were instructed in all clarity by Jesus.
The truth is that today no one knows the real teachings
of Jesus. No one knows the real teachings of Buddha as to
what he wanted to convey. If someone were to ask the Buddha
The Liberator [ 52 ]
or Jesus that, “Did you want to teach us what has been
preached till date?” Then they would have said, “No, we want
to convey something else. But you are not ready to understand
and hence these things are being told. If you are ready, then
the Final Truth can be told.”
They told a few people the secrets they had realized and
those few people did not get the right people who could
understand and spread those teachings. In the whole world,
only those teachings spread which are preliminary for the
beginners on the path of Truth, as there are more people who
are ready to listen to these. People who listen to Real
Knowledge are very few.

FIFTH BEATITUDE:
Those who shall forgive, they will be forgiven
Jesus said, ‘Those who shall forgive, will be forgiven,’
and with that He told a story. A person goes to the king and
tells, “I owe you a debt that I am unable to pay.” The debt was
around Rs. 200. At that time, the king was in a very good
mood. He said, “I waive off your debt.” This made that person
very happy.
Feeling very pleased, he was on his way home when he
met his neighbor whom he had given his place on rent. He
caught hold of him saying, “Hey! You have still not returned
my two rupees that you had taken long back, so vacate my
house.” The other person requested, “Please give me a few
more days and I will return the money.” He replied sternly,
“Not at all. I will not give you any more time.” The king came
to know about this. He called that person the very next day to
his court and issued an order, “You will have to repay the debt
that I had waived off.” On hearing this, that person started
weeping. Then the king said, “You got Rs. 200 waived off from
me, but you cannot waive even Rs. 2 for others, hence you
have to pay back the debt.”
The Liberator [ 53 ]
A person goes to the temple and prays to God, “Oh
God! Please pardon my mistakes and sins.” How many times
we ask God for being pardoned, but not even once we are
able to forgive anyone living with us. So, does this person have
the right to seek forgiveness? And should he be forgiven?
Should his prayers be heard? It will not be heard at all. If
someone commits a mistake, you say, “I will never forgive him.
I will remember him for eternity.” And if even God were to
remember your faults for eternity, then what would happen?
Hence when we pray for forgiveness, ponder over as to
whether we have learnt to forgive. We hold on to even trivial
mistakes committed by others. Brawls take place over such
petty things that you will laugh if you hear them. You will
think as to when these kids will grow up, they keep on
quarrelling over such stupid matters. Hence it is said that,
‘Those who shall forgive will be forgiven.’

SIXTH BEATITUDE:
It is easy for a camel to pass through the needle’s eye,
but for a rich person (who has faith in his wealth),
entrance to the Kingdom of the Lord is difficult.
A rich person came to Jesus and after shedding tears
said, “I want the Final Truth.” Jesus told him, “Give up
whatever wealth you have and come over.” That person was
distressed by these words and said, “This is not possible.” Jesus
replied, “Okay, then it’s your choice.” Hearing this, that person
went away.
After that person went away, Jesus uttered this phrase ‘A
camel can pass through a needle’s eye (it is easy), but for a
rich person (who has faith in his wealth) entry to the Kingdom
of Lord is difficult.’ After listening to these words, some people
asked Jesus as to what he actually meant. To this He replied
that a rich person means the one who feels ownership of

The Liberator [ 54 ]
wealth or who thinks this wealth that I have is mine, and has
more faith in wealth than in God.
Some things are in your possession, but only that which
you make use of, is yours. If out of 20 rupees you have, you
use 10 rupees and give 10 to someone, then the 10 rupees
you gave to someone else, actually belonged to that person.
You were merely carrying that money in your pocket. It is not
that anything you carry with you is yours.
It is not that the money lying in your bank account is
yours. It is someone else’s money and you are just carrying it
with you and someone else is carrying your money. Only the
feeling of ownership to money should be removed. We have
the money with us and we are using it. If we are staying in a
house, we are using it.
To clarify this further here is another little story: A
person wanted to enter a king’s palace but the guards were
preventing him from going in. That person sent a message to
the king, “I want to come and stay in the palace.” The king
was astonished to hear this person who said that he wants to
stay in the palace. He was called. The king told him, “How
can you stay here? It is my palace.” That person asked the
king, “Who was residing here before you?” The king answered,
“My father.” He further asked, “Before him, who was staying
here?” The king replied, “My grandfather.” “Before him, who
lived here?” “His father.” “Before that, who was there?” “Our
grandfather’s great grandfather.” And so on. Then the person
finally declared, “So many people have stayed here, hence it
has become an open house. You are staying here, I will too.”
In the same way it is not that where you stay, that place
is yours. You can stay happily over there, but let there be no
feeling of ownership. Great relief will result from the removal
of feeling of ownership. If you can understand this, everything
inside you will change. From outside, people know it is your

The Liberator [ 55 ]
house. But you know that in this house, we are merely staying.
Till such time it is being made use of by us, it is ours. When
we stop using it, then it will be that person’s who will use it.
In this way the feeling of ownership ceases.
Jesus said, ‘Those who are rich’ by which he meant the
one who is living as an owner, cannot pass through a needle’s
eye, because this feeling of ownership will be an obstacle for
him and he won’t be able to get out of it. Thus each and every
teaching of Jesus contains profound meaning and was said
taking into consideration the people of those times. But what
are the needs of people today? Those teachings are to be
understood today as to their real meaning and also how to
benefit from them in our life.

SEVENTH BEATITUDE:
Those who have will be given more;
those who have nothing will be deprived of.
Jesus decreed, ‘Those who have will be given more,
those who have nothing will be deprived of.’ On hearing this,
it appears to be a wrong phrase to those with a logical
disposition. One feels the phrase should have been, ‘Those
who don’t have will be given and those who have will be
deprived of.’ But the opposite has been said.
‘Those who have will be given’ - He used to explain
with examples as to what he meant. His favorite examples
were those related to farming because the people of those
times were Jew farmers and it is always necessary to instruct
in the common man’s language of a given time. As there were
no TVs in those times, examples of TVs, advertisements, films,
etc. were therefore not used. Jesus imparted knowledge in the
language of those times.
Through the example of seeds, he made it clear that by
seeds (Refer to page no. 22) He meant the different kinds of

The Liberator [ 56 ]
people who had come to listen to his sermons.
1) Of these, some people were like seeds strewn on the
streets. They were told the Truth but they did not benefit
from it. At the end of the sermon, the seeds (knowledge)
were eaten away by the birds. The knowledge did not
benefit them at all. They heard the discourse, nodded
their heads, and went away. They are people of the
lower level of understanding.
2) The second kind of seeds were those that had fallen on
the stony ground, implying those people who had stones
(lots of false beliefs) filled in their minds. They came to
the discourses, heard them, and had some effect. But
due to certain false beliefs and misconceptions, those
seedlings could not develop, those people could not
progress. They heard a bit, but then got stuck up. They
couldn’t progress further.
3) The third kind are those people who were surrounded
by thorns, i.e. people around them were negative
thinkers, who created doubts repeatedly in their minds
and did not allow them to progress.
4) The fourth type were those who got the right soil and the
environment around them was also conducive. Due to
which they could go ahead, make progress, and grow
into a tree, i.e. they attained self-realization or liberation.
Those who have the knowledge and understanding want
to listen to discourses more and more on their own volition.
People think that when we will get wisdom and
understanding, then we would not listen anymore. But the
opposite happens. The more the understanding one gets, the
more one attends the discourses. Those who begin to get the
Knowledge want to listen more, and they do get more. Hence
it was said that ‘Those who have will be given more and those
who have nothing will be deprived of.’ Some people could not
The Liberator [ 57 ]
understand His words at all. They felt that He wanted to
spread his religion, hence they opposed Jesus and he was
given severe punishment. Due to the lack of understanding,
the people of those times crucified Jesus. Everyone knows the
story after that.
Millions of Christians are followers of Jesus Christ. If all
the Christian people get that ‘understanding’ which Jesus
wanted to impart, then the world today will become heaven
and all of us will have access to the Kingdom of the Lord.

FINAL BEATITUDE:
Thy Will Be Done
The last words that were spoken by Jesus to the Lord
were, ‘Thy Will Be Done.’ The meaning of his first and last
phrases was the same. He was being crucified, but even there
he was saying, ‘Thy will be done,’ that means there was total
submission to the Lord.
People say, “I am complaining, this is wrong. It means
that I have no acceptance for the will of God.” But it has to
be understood that if you are not able to accept, then by
whose will are you not able to accept? It is His (God’s) will
that you shouldn’t accept now and complaints should arise
from you. The one who knows and understands ‘Thy will be
done’ also knows that if a complaint is being made by me, it
is because of His will that I am complaining. This is the
missing link. People have forgotten this missing link due to
which they are unable to benefit anymore from surrender.
The understanding should be that if we are shedding
tears, it is His will that we should weep, and so we should
weep freely. If we are laughing, it is His will that we laugh,
then we will laugh freely. Where there is this kind of
submission and this understanding of ‘Thy will be done,’ then
for that person celebration and crucifixion are not two different

The Liberator [ 58 ]
things. This missing link must be understood or else everyone
says, “You complain, you worry, that means you have no
acceptance for the will of God.” This is half knowledge.
It is said that there are two paths to attain the Truth –
one of surrender and the other of resolve (using our own
willpower and effort). Surrender or submission is the only path
on which we have to do nothing. For example, when a child
says, “I will catch my mother” and is able to catch her, you
know that the mother wanted it that way and so the child was
able to catch her. People, who adopt the path of resolve, do
not know that they are made to do so by His will. They
cannot make a resolution on their own. They don’t have that
power or strength, but they are not aware of it at that time. At
that time, they feel that submission and resolve are two
different paths. They feel that we will try on our own, use our
strength; but if they are using their power…it is His will. And
if they are able to see this, it is His wish. If they can enjoy the
fruits of Knowledge, it is His will.

OTHER TEACHINGS :
The Lord’s kingdom is within you (in the heart).
First attain it, then you will get everything else on your own.
1) If you keep faith in one God (Father), then you will
attain liberation. For this, continuous prayer is essential,
so that people keep away from committing sins. Only
prayer rewards mankind with peace and purity.
2) Love the lord with all your heart, your body, your mind,
your soul, and all your strength as well. Divine love is
expressed through mankind.
3) Keep faith in your faith - by which you can even move
mountains.
4) Golden Rule: Do unto your neighbor as you would
expect your neighbor to do unto you.
The Liberator [ 59 ]
5) Love your enemies. In response to your enemies’ curses,
pray for them.
6) Don’t take revenge. If someone strikes you on the right
cheek, then turn the left cheek also, so that he may be
completely satisfied.
7) Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your
brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your
own eye?
8) The merciful are worthy because they will receive the
mercy of God.
9) A follower of truth is worthy because he will attain God.
10) A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is
fully trained will be equal to the master.
Oh, Lord! Please accept our prayers,
We without your help
are unable to do any good deed
Have mercy upon us
So that we abide by Your commands
through our will and deeds
So that we can please you
Bless us through our lord Jesus Christ
Amen (May this prayer be accepted).
The underlying reason for all these beatitudes is that
people should understand their responsibility, repent for their
sins, be born again and get liberated from the old. Once you
are reborn, your ears will open and the highest wisdom will
enter within you. The light within will emerge and shine.
People light the lamps in the hall, where people come and
visit, the rooms in the house where they live; and not in the
basements. Eyes are the lamps of human body. What is in your

The Liberator [ 60 ]
eyes? Is the light glowing or is there dirt in it? If there is dirt
then the lamp will get extinguished. If you do not put oil and
instead put dirt in the lamp, it will get extinguished. If the lamp
is not lit then the entire house (body) will be in darkness. If
the lamp is lit, the entire body will be filled with light, with
pure consciousness. Seeing the glow emanating from you,
people would praise the father of heaven. As people praise the
wonders of the world like The Great Wall of China, The Taj
Mahal, in the same way people would remember the father in
heaven looking at you. Do not just light the Christmas tree by
putting lights onto it, but also light your entire body. Cut down
the tree of false beliefs and assumptions. Jesus did not come
to preach the religion of Jews. He came to preach the religion
of humanity. How do we truly adopt the human religion? Feel
that first. Once you feel it, your thinking and behavior will
change by its own. The way you walk and talk will change.
