Course Introduction
1. Purpose. The Smart-Vue 2.0 Client Software Service Training course is an online e-learning
training course. The course is available to all applicable Thermo Fisher Scientific (TFS), Unity
Lab Services (ULS) service representatives, and authorized distributors. The course is only
administered online and can be used for new certification.

2. Scope. The course is designed to provide general knowledge about the Smart-Vue 2.0 Client
Software. The course introduces the basics regarding installation and setup, modules, alert
configurations and sensor details. The total time needed to complete all eighteen modules is
approx 3.0 hours.

3. Applicability. This course is intended for instructional training purposes only. This course is
designed for all field service engineers and technical support representatives who are tasked
with duties involving all aspects of servicing and or supporting Smart-Vue 2.0 Client Software.

4. Recommendations. Comments and recommendations on the contents of the course are

welcome and will aide in subsequent course revisions. Please complete the course evaluation
questionnaire upon completing the entire course.

Course Overview and Training Expectations

The Smart-Vue 2.0 Client Software Service Training e-Learning course is composed of eighteen
separate study lessons. Each study lesson is to be completed in sequence to permit course
progression. Each lesson is a prerequisite to the next and must be fulfilled before progressing. A
curriculum overview for each training event is provided below with access instructions. Each
study lesson is self paced, however, the course enrollment period is limited to a 30 day
completion criteria timeframe. If youre unable to complete the course within the next thirty days
please inform your manager, company liaison, or the training administrator identified below.

Upon completing each lesson a (temporary), unsigned certificate will be emailed to you. This
certificate will only acknowledge you completed the module and are pending certification. Upon
completing all ten modules email the training administrator, at
LED.TMC.Training@thermofisher.com. The training administrator will verify your course
enrollment time and make sure your overall course grades meets the minimum 70% pass
criteria. Upon meeting the criteria, a signed course certificate will be issued to your attention.

If at any time you experience issues accessing the online tutorials, supporting documentation, or
have questions pertaining to the course instructions please email the training administrator
using the email address provided above.

Please note before beginning: All lessons are password authenticated and case sensitive. The
password used for all eighteen lessons is: svu2 Each e-learning training module requires you
to login with your First/Last Name and company business email address to record your training
activity, slides viewed, and course progress.

Step 13, Course Certification

1. Upon successful completion of all course requirements; modules 1-10 please

email the Training Administrator at LED.TMC.Training@thermofisher.com.

2. Once the administrator receives your notification of course completion and verifies all
requirements have been met a certificate will be provided. Please allow a 5-7 business
days to receive confirmation of course completion.
