NARRATIVE REPORT

I. INTRODUCTION
Our professor in our subject safety management gave us a task to make a safety training
program, where in, we , EE- 3104 students, are the one who would act as trainors and speakers.
We also have the power to choose what topic we are going to discuss. Our group come up with
the idea of " PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT TRAINING PROGRAM ". We decided
to choose this topic because, for us, it is the best and the most important thing we must learn first
when we are about to work.

II. KNOWLEDGE/LEARNING ACQUIRED

As we are preparing for our training program, we also got our new learnings. For example,
the process of making a program should start with the lesson plan. we also learned that there are
different types of personal protective equipments that are specialized according to the type of
hazard a job has.
it is not our audience who have learned new things, we also learn as we prepare and teach them.

III. OBSERVATION
During our program, we observed that our audience are very attentive and listen to us very
carefully; we can say that they are really having fun and are excited to learn new things. They
interact with us as we tackle each topics. They also take down notes as they listen to us.
Their actions and reactions power us. Thats why we finished our program flawlessly and
perfectly.

IV. RECOMMENDATIONS/SUGGESTIONS
If you are going to conduct a training program, like what we have conducted, you must
know first whom would your audience be,their age, gender ( for some certain topics ), their
position in life and their profession. in that way, your efforts would not be wasted because your
audience can coped in and understand you well as your discussion goes on.

INTRODUCTION

Employers have duties concerning the provision and use of personal protective
equipment (PPE) at work. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is anything used or worn by a
person to minimize risk to the persons health or safety and includes a wide range of clothing and
safety equipment. PPE includes boots, face masks, hard hats, ear plugs, respirators, gloves, safety
harnesses, high visibility clothing etc.

Making the workplace safe includes providing instructions, procedures, training and
supervision to encourage people to work safely and responsibly. Even where engineering
controls and safe systems of work have been applied, some hazards might remain. These include
injuries to the lungs(from breathing in contaminated air), the head and feet, (from falling
materials), the eyes (from flying particles or splashes of corrosive liquids)the skin (from contact
with corrosive materials) and the body (from extremes of heat or cold). PPE is needed in these
cases to reduce the risk.

PRESENTATION

In this program, each of us will discuss one type of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
and the the method of teaching that we will used is lecture/class discussion.

APPLICATION

After the program, the students will know how to apply the knowledge they learned about
the personal protective equipment when they become employers or supervisors.
