Pakistan Studies Class Project: (CLO-1)

Illustrate through presentation one possible way of employing engineering


knowledge for betterment of Pakistan. You can do so by Identifying areas in which
Pakistan is lagging behind and how particular type of engineering you are studding
would help in making progress in that area . Different types of industries can be
surveyed and assessed for this purpose and comparisons can be drawn with south
Asian and internationally for scaling the progress rate of Pakistan.

Each group shall be composed of 5 members of the same section.


5 groups shall present in each lecture.
Presentation duration would be 8 minutes for each group.
Use the group and topic approval form attached in the email for approving
the group and topic.

Illustrate through a video (1.5 to 2 minutes in duration): how a specific wrong
behavior/practice found in our society can be corrected through practicing Islamic
Teachings/Ethics in that area.

Challenges faced by Ummah & its possible solutions

Each group needs to identify one UNIQUE specific challenge faced by Ummah and
try to working out its best possible solution

Group Approval Group stays the same as above

Presentation date 5th December

Instructions Applicable to All Presentations


Topics will be assigned on first come first serve basis
Groups submission and topic assignment can be done before deadline by the
students so that they can start working earlier. Take print of group and topic
approval form and after filling it submit it to Sir Shahzeb.
Plagiarism will invite negative marking and is not allowed about 40% and
would result in cancellation of the report.

Formatting instructions for the reports:


o Title page template attached in the email will be used

o Word limit : 1000-1500 words

o Type your paper on a computer

o Line spacing = 1.5 (between the lines)

o Font Style =Times New Roman.

o The font size should be 12 pt. For headings use same font size with bold

o Leave only one space after periods or other punctuation marks

o Set the margins of your document to 1 inch on all sides.

o Indent the first line of paragraphs one half-inch from the left margin. Use the Tab
key as opposed to pushing the Space Bar five times.

o Create a header that numbers all pages consecutively in the upper right-hand
corner, one-half inch from the top and flush with the right margin. (Omit the
number on your first page.

o Foot notes are mandatory

Submission:
o Submission of reports would be made by uploading them on Turnitin
directly in soft form only.
o PPT will be emailed to Sir Shahzeb.
o No late submissions shall be entertained.
