This assignment aims to figure out the response to - who are considered as human resources and
why; are they capital or resources and lastly can we also call it personal management instead of
human resources? This workout will seek the answer to these questions and give a brief elaboration
as well to support the response.

Shaping human to resources:

People are born as human but making them as resources is no walk in the park. At a certain time of
age humans tend to involve in the workforce to bear the expense of life, family and for oneself;
some of the people engage in work out of their passion; example: the athletes. Like all other
resources in an organization they are considered one as well. But the question remains where there
they could be called as resources or not, and when they become resources to benefit organization?
This can be defined as the ratio between the output of a person in work and the organizational input
for a person. We can figure this out by the worth of the persons work in money and the amount is
invented on that person by the organization. They can be molded to resources with motivation,
training and practicing the work into correct direction.

Capital VS resources:

Now a big puzzle to solve how much of the capital to be invested to make the resources? The
organization can think that investing on machines is more profitable as these do not need to be
trained or motivated. But they need to remember that without the trained people operating the
machine the organization is good as dead! Depending the complexity of work, size of organization
and the size of operation the capital has to be allocated. Take the most successful organization like
Apple, Tesla, Google and SpaceX for example. The investment to make the life of their employees
easy is huge; see how enormous they have become. So capital has to be directed to correct
resources.

Personal management or human resources management:

Those days are long gone when the organization recruited some people just to manage the work to
directly through them directly to the pit. In the world of globalization, high efficiency and extreme
economic pressure all the organizations are stressed to find the correct set of competitive
advantages they have and drive them for the maximization of wealth. The level of personal
management was limited to hiring, giving salary and firing when they could not perform. But now
the game is fully changed, people look for work life balance; job environment is the most appealing
feature, even more than the salary! To cope up to the demands the methods and point of views are
chaining and the idea of Personal management is demolished to make it more to human resources
management.
