Candidate was involved with the Year 1 foundation programme as an English (ESL)
and ICT teacher at the ESG vocational college in Al Quwayiyah, to prepare the
students for the in-depth vocational studies that will be taught in Year 2 and Year
3.Duties included: Lesson preparation (including adaptation of existing materials and
the creation of new ones); The preparation, supervision and marking of progress
tests and examinations; Content development; and the pioneering of learning

Candidate lectured ESL (English as a Second Language) at the Rustaq College of
Applied Sciences (Sultanate of Oman) and Prepared Omani college students to reach
a 4.5 IELTS level, to enable them to study their majors (Education, I.T & Business
Studies) in English. He taught Listening, Speaking, Grammar, Reading, Writing and
Study Skills to foundation year students. In addition, he taught EAP (English for
Academic Purposes) to second year Business Studies students. The EAP course
focused on developing writing, listening, reading and speaking skills of students with
majors in Business Studies. Texts and materials had Business Studies related
vocabulary and focus.

Duties included: Basic PC literacy training on MS Of ce, Facilitating the training of
teachers regarding the integration of ICTs into teaching and learning, and training
teachers how to digitize learning content. Achievements include: Installing e-content
at 30 schools in the Eastern Cape; MTN project: MS training and ICT integration
(North-West, Mpumalanga and Eastern Cape); MS Classroom management solutions

Hargeisa Orphanage and maternity hospital in Hargeisa, Somalia. Smaller projects in
