Interest in alternative investments has never been stronger, but the paths
to opportunities in this industry are not always clearly marked. Sponsors
for Educational Opportunitys (SEO) Alternative Investments Conference
promotes diversity by providing a day of education, access, and career
development for young and experienced professionals who are traditionally
underrepresented in the alternatives sector. The Conference includes panel
discussions and networking activities with sector leaders, emerging managers,
limited partners, and fund managers.
The Conference is part of the SEO Alternative Investments Program, which
builds upon SEOs 50-year history of providing talented and motivated young
people from underserved and underrepresented communities access to
educational and career opportunities.
SEOs Alternative Investments Fellowship Program (AIFP), launched with
Kolhberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and TPG Capital, combines workshops,
training, and mentoring to educate and prepare underrepresented first- and
second-year analysts as candidates for positions in private equity and other
opportunities within the alternative investments sector.
CCMP Capital Advisors LLC and Pantheon Ventures (US) LP have joined
SEOs Alternative Investments Undergraduate Program to identify talent for
their undergraduate summer analyst programs, providing additional pathways
for talented individuals to gain access to the industry.
The SEO Alternative Investments program has grown with the critical guidance
