 Process of Solar Air Heating
• Use of Concentrators for Direct Air
Heating
• The Air may be directly or
indirectly heated through suitable
media. By using Schefflar
concentrators Air Heating is
possible up to 150 C or above.
This method can be configured
with existing systems under drying
process. In normal course, the
heated air is taken into an
insulated chamber of particular
size and design and then can be
supplied to the dryer/place of use
in a controlled manner.

collector - principles
• In this method the air is taken from
the bottom of the Flat plate
collectors. The air is filtered
through a fine mesh to trap any
dust, dirt or foreign particles
entering the drying process. The
blower / exhaust can be controlled
through openings of baffles from
fully closed to fully open condition.

hot air is taken in an insulated
