applicationofthecoatingsystemisasfollows:
Surfacepreparation
thesurfacemustbestructurallysoundandfreeof
oil,grease,dustandothercontaminantswhich
willaffectthebonding.Anystructuralcracksand
potholesshallberepairedwithasuitablerepair
mortar from the polyCREtE* range of repair
mortars.thesurfacetobetreatedshouldbepre-

Mixing
polyFlEx is supplied in two pre-measured parts
whichjustrequiresonsitemixing.Donotmixmore
materialthanthatcanbeusedwithinthepotlife.

liquidintoasuitablecontainerandslowlyaddthe

Application
itisrecommendedtoapplypolyFlEx intwocoatsto
provideaminimumthicknessof2mmforheavily
trafficked areas and water retaining structures.
Eachcoatshallbeapplied@1.8kg/m2 whichwill
giveadryfilmthicknessof1mm.thecoatingcan
beappliedwithastiffbrushorbyanairlessspray
ofnozzlesizeof3-4mmandapressureof6-7bar.
Aftertheapplicationofthefirstcoatandwhilstthe
coatingisstillwet,embedaglassfibremeshatall
cornersandotherjointsforaddedreinforcement.
the second coat shall be applied after the first
coatdriesoffcompletely(6-8hours@25C,50%
RH). For general waterproofing and protection
