Grouping Configurations: Small groups, whole class
Materials: Poster Paper for each group, graphic organizer for all students, content
resources for each dimension, a way to label each group visually or with words for
each dimension

Steps:
1. Using a topic of study that has several categories, dimensions, or qualities;
assign each dimension a specific area in the classroom and label each area
with pictures or words representing the dimension.

2. Place resources related to the topic in each designated area.

3. Tell students to use resources to learn about the particular dimension and
decide how to best represent that dimension for their peers

4. Each group will then teach the rest of the class about their dimension

5. Helpful to also have students have a graphic organizer so that while other
groups are presenting, they can take notes and have access to all of the
information.
