The Crossover Saga

A Modern/Horror Setting for BRP.

By M.W. Hess and E.M. Hess

This BRP setting is based off the home-made movies Crossover Alliance, Broken Alliance,
Out of the Darkness and Evil Awakening by Back Creek Daddy Productions and from
other original sources. Players can be a Hog Wild member or USATO agent and battle the
forces of the Black Organization, or join Drac and the Professor as they exact their
revenge.

Collinsport, Maine 2002-2011


Collinsport is a small seaport town in northeastern Maine, it is the setting for the movies
mentioned above.

Technology: Modern day tech, some Advanced science such as knowledge of Portals and
a Parallel World (E01) and biologically engineered vampires.

Timeline
1988 - The accidental killing of Katie Jacobs, a US citizen visiting London, by US agents
involved in a shoot-out with terrorists. One of the agents was Dexter Black, a hit man for
the CIA (part of an anti-terrorist strike force, which later is the basis for USATO), and
father of future USATO agent John Black.
1991 - The United States Anti-Terrorist Organization is founded in New York by Jon Doe
and No Name.
1992 - USATO encounters a man calling himself Drac Black, for the first time. The Crime
and Drug Organization (CDO) is founded by J. Brownstone, Alex Snowkofski and former
USATO agent Mike Stonebreaker.
1993 - Jon Doe is killed in the line of duty, April 13th, with several other USATO operatives
in an encounter with Drac Black.
1994 - Drac Black is apprehended in a joint effort by USATO, CDO and the FBI.
1998 - Drac Black escapes from prison with the help of his long-time ally, Prof. Phillips.
2001 - Oct. FBI agent Jonathan Andrews and USATO agents Simon Pertwee and Anthony
Noire are sent to Collinsport, Maine. Where they meet Tony Spender, encounter Drac
Black and discover the existence of portals to a parallel world.
2002 - The events from Crossover Alliance take place around April; 6 months later in
Oct. the events from Broken Alliance take place.
2004 - The events from Out of the Darkness take place early in the year. In Dec. ISC is
terminally shut down and Alex Powers is apprehended by USATO Special Agents John
Black, Simon Pertwee and Alexander Raines.
2005 - The events from Evil Awakening take place.
2009 - Dec. 26th USATO Special Agent John Black goes rogue and is assassinated by Agent
25.
2010 - Jan. 10th Homeland Security opens the John Black Recon Intel Operations
department, headed by Lt. Shooter Black.; The events from The Pawn take place.

Character Types:
Hog Wild Biker is a member of the Hog Wild Bunch, a motorcycle gang. Known to
be wild and reckless, but under the leadership of Charlie Haines and Dan the Man they
were used for the greater good. They have the following skills: Brawl, Drive (Motorcycle),
Fast Talk, Firearm (any), Grapple, Navigate, Repair (Mechanical), Throw, + 2 skills of
players choice. Example Characters: Charlie Haines, Dan the Man, Hollywood.
Occultist is one versed in the ways of ancient magic. They have access to Magic
powers. They have the following skills: Fast Talk, Insight, Know: (Anthropology, History,
Occult), Language (Other, Own), Research + any 2 of the following: Art (any), Craft (any),
Know (Archeology), Medicine, Science (any) or Status. Example Characters: Arminius,
Jessi Lynn, Alex Wolf PW.
Professor from Call of Cthulhu 6th Ed.: Bargain, Credit Rating, Library Use,
Language (Other & Own), Persuade, Psychology, and Technical (Computer Use) + any 2 of
the following: Anthropology, Archeology, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics,
Geology, History, Law, Medicine, Natural History or Physics. Example Characters: Prof.
Stokes.
Rogue Agent Agents from various agencies that for various reasons have gone
bad. They have the following skills: Dodge, Fast Talk, Hide, Listen, Research, Spot, Stealth
+ 3 from the following: Photography, Brawl, Disguise, Etiquette, Firearm (any), Grapple,
Know (any), Language (other), Language (Own), Martial Arts, Navigate, Pilot (any),
Psychology, Repair (electronics), Repair (mechanical), Ride, Swim, technical (Computer
Use), Throw or Track. Example Characters: Tony Spender, Leonard McBee.
Scientist A scientist may work for USATO or OTASU or may be employed by the
Black Organization. They have the following skills: Craft (any), Persuade, Research,
Status, Technical (computer Use) or Heavy Machine + any 5 Know or Science appropriate
to field of study. Example Characters: Dr. Morgan
USATO Agent (or OTASU Agent E01): Secret Agents working to thwart the plans
of the evil Black Organization. They have the following skills from USATO Files: Drive
Auto, Fast Talk, Handgun, Law, Listen, Psychology, Spot Hidden + any three of players
choice. Example Characters: Carl Blackwell, Charlie Haines E01, Dan the Man E01.
Faceless Ones: Faceless Ones are minions and henchmen used by Agencies,
Occultists and Mad Scientists when needed. They have the following skills: Brawl,
Disguise, Dodge, Firearm (any), Grapple, Hide, Martial Arts, Melee Weapon, Missile
Weapon and Stealth

Normal Campaign Power Level: EDU x20 for professional skill points; no skill higher than
90%. INT x 10 for Personal Skill Points. Characters begin with one power type at Normal
level.

Common Powers: Magic, Prof. Phillips and Jessi Lynn use Magic to open portals and for
protection. Mutations, Prof. Phillips created a Vampire through scientific experiments.
Drac Black is technically a Mutation.
