Position Title: Project Manager

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Architecture.

Requirement:

Minimum 5 years experience in the same field in a Hotel/Resort Development and Construction
Management Projects.
Excellent communication skills required.
Skilled at analyzing and interpreting information.
Familiar and competent with AutoCAD Microsoft Office Suite programs including Microsoft
Project.
Strong technical, supervisory and leadership skills.
Strong command of both spoken and written English.

Key Responsibilities
The preparation of Bills and Schedules of Quantities of materials, labour and services
required in the construction and equipment of building, or engineering works.
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect or
the client.
Preparation of specifications when required so to do.
Performing risk and value management and cost control.
Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders.
Advising on procurement strategy.
Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks.
Monitoring the construction of a building project to ensure costs and materials are in line
with the initial assessment.

Key Responsibilities
Direct and Lead construction team during the construction of the project.
Be the administrative head of the site team and manage the construction documentation
issue process.
Maintain all relevant site records, log books, reports and keep the reports in order.
Coordinate and liaise with contractors and consultants on all aspects of work.
Monitor contractors progress against programme and issue relevant Notices
Coordinate the inspection and approval for all samples, tests, method statements, shop
drawings to ensure accuracy of works.
Conduct and record regular site meetings.
Report on progress, site safety, quality and housekeeping
Adjudicate entitlements that arise from changes required to the construction programme.
