POP ART-INSPIRED PAINTING AND EXPLANATION

Due Monday 21st November, 2016

Painting and a 100-word explanation, in your journal, of
the connection between the aesthetic colour palette and
your subject in the painting
You will be painting a portrait of a family member, pet or a friend.
Your painting will be influenced by the Pop Art technique, colour palette,
painting style as well as symbolising your connection to the subject
depicted in your painting using colours.
If you wish to undertake an alternative assessment where you would
like to paint a different subject, you may do so as well.
For this assignment you will be assessed on the extent to how you
develop your own unique painting technique, colour palette, colour
aesthetic and how this connects to the emotions you are painting your
subject.
Assessment Rubric. Use this rubric as a guide when constructing
your assignment.
