La Feria Internacional de Arte Contem-
porneo de Madrid arranca esta nueva
edicin con un objetivo claro: consolidarse
como feria de descubrimiento de nuevos
talentos y contenidos para coleccionistas
y profesionales. Para ello cuenta con un
Programa General, en el que participan
160 galeras, a las que hay que sumar las
participantes en el resto de secciones co-
misariadas: Argentina Plataforma ARCO,
con doce, Dilogos, con otras doce y
Galera Maisterravalbuena
Opening, con 16. La mayor parte de ellas
presentar proyectos enfocados a la pre-
sentacin de uno o dos artistas de distin-
tos entornos, reforzando a ARCOmadrid
como espacio para el conocimiento de la
obra de autores de distintas generaciones.
The International Contemporary Art Fair
of Madrid kicks off a new edition with a
clear aim: to establish itself as a fair where
collectors and industry professionals can
discover new talent and material. To this
end, it features a General Programme
in which 160 galleries are scheduled to
take part, in addition to those in the other
curated sections: Argentina Plataforma
ARCO, with twelve galleries; Dialogues,
with another twelve; and Opening, with
sixteen. Most of the galleries will offer up
projects focused on presenting one or
two artists from different backgrounds,

intergenerational dialogue will encompass
a range of artists, from the youngest like 3

propuesta SOLO/DUO. De las galeras
seleccionadas, ms de 20 dedicarn su
estand a uno o dos artistas entre los que
se encuentran Alan Charlton, Edgardo
Mirtha Dermisache, junto a otros a des-
cubrir por el pblico como Diego Bianchi,
Pablo Accinelli o Sol Pipkin.
El programa Dilogos contar con las ga-
leras seleccionadas por Mara de Corral,
Lorena Martnez de Corral y Catalina Lo-
zano cuyos estands generarn contenidos
nuevos a la vez que servirn para presen-
tar la obra de sus artistas en profundidad.
Entre estos, Diango Hernndez y Roman
Ondak, as como los argentinos Eduardo
Navarro, Irene Kopelman y Toms Sara-
ceno. Finalmente, Opening volver a cen-
trarse en galeras con una trayectoria de un

comisario Tim Goossens ser el responsable
de la seccin Curated Venture, en la que se

artista de una galera espaola y la de un

exhibir en Madrid refleja el perfil de sus fondos a
travs de pinturas, esculturas y dibujos de grandes
artistas como Durero, Rafael, Poussin, Tiepolo y
Leonardo da Vinci.

 HOMENAJE A TOMA PANDUR
El Teatro Espaol comienza una nueva andadura rin-
diendo homenaje al director esloveno Toma Pandur,
fallecido en 2016, con la puesta en escena de dos
de sus montajes. Del 2 al 5 de febrero podr verse
Fausto, obra en esloveno con sobrettulos en espaol
basada en la obra suprema de Goethe, y del 10 al
12 de febrero Inmaculata, sobre Mara, la madre de
Cristo, incomprendida y sola, divina y mortal.

with a tribute to Slovenian director Toma Pandur,
who died in 2016, staging two of his productions.

En la Varsovia de nuestros das, Blanca escucha
una leyenda segn la cual un viejo cartgrafo se
empe, mientras todo mora a su alrededor, en
dibujar el mapa de aquel mundo en peligro. Como

los datos que necesitaba, era una nia la que sala
a buscarlos para l... Una obra de Juan Mayorga,

In modern-day Warsaw, Blanca hears a legend that

El ya tradicional festival madrileo rene en su
sptima edicin a los mejores magos del mundo.
Del 9 al 12 de febrero tendr lugar Magia de cerca,
que, en la intimidad de la Sala Parish, permitir a
100 personas por pase disfrutar de la cartomagia,
micromagia y otras especialidades de maestros del
ilusionismo como son los espaoles Pipo Villanueva
y Raymon y el japons Shimpei Katsuragawa. Del
15 de febrero al 12 de marzo se sucedern, en la
Gala de Magia de Escena, grandes figuras nacio-
nales como El Gran Carlini, Hctor Mancha y Jorge
Blass, e internacionales como Chris Torrente, Mikael
Szanyiel, Galina, Jan Reinder y Marco Zoppi.
