Thanks for purchasing our A4 UV flatbed printer UV210C.This user manual will guide you how to use it. Please
make sure you read and full understand this manual before your installation and using. Please keep this manual well for
your reference in emergency.

Please open the packing cases after receiving machine, clean up the protective film, check the machine whether there is
any damage, and make an inventory according to the following packing list .
1. One unit A4 UV Printer
2 One CD of the printer driver (we can sent by email also)
3. The softdog ( the white USB key) for Acro RIP software
4. 6 pcs empty UV ink bottle and one waste ink bottle
5.The USB cable
6.The power line
7. The operation manual which will be sent via email
8.Other spare parts,such as sensor, syringes .

Chapter 2 the A4 UV Flatbed Printer Introduction

This machine is modified with EPSON L800/R330 print head, please use the EPSON L800/R330 printer driver and the compatible consumables. For the detailed
specification, please refer to the printers instructions.

Note:
1.Please put the uv bottles on the bottle bracket or same height place .
2.Please open the printer cover when you use the printer.Please close the uv window when
you ship the printer.

Chapter 3 The preparation work before Opening the machine

3.1 Add the water into the water cooling pump
There is two solutions for installation the water cooling pump .Please check it as following.
3.1.1.Solution one is very easy,please check it following.
Open this cover
Put the water cooling pump like

this and add the water into the tank
about 90% fully water.

When the light lamp on, please check
whether there is water circulation.
please check. It is very important .
there should be water circulation
when the led lamp work.
3.1.2.Solution two is a little complicated ,please check it following.
Open the cover
Take out the foam

Take out the water tank
Open the cover of the tank
Add the water into the tank
about 90% fully
Closed the cover and cross placed it
to ensure it does not leak the water
Take the tank back again and pay attention to
the water in the tube whether is circulating
when the machine carry out the printing task.

Notes :
1.Due to it is first time to use the printer, please check whether there is water circulation when the machine
carry out the printing task . Please check following for checking whether there is water circulation.
A. you can touch the water tube and feel the water is moving
B. The indicator light will be on during the UV lamp is working
The indicator light will be on when the

LED lamp is working
2. Please add the water when there is not enough water in the water tank .
3.2. Install the CISS ( Damper )
For making your installation easier, we have install the damper for you ,what you need to do is insert the pipe into the
ink bottles.
This is ink sac CISS
Insert the ink sac into the nozzle corresponding with
the color label in the head cartridges one by one

Adjust the tube distance to ensure the print head
can move back and forth smoothly
Please insert each pipeline to the corresponding ink
bottle according to the label of the pipeline
Finish its installation. Please put the UV ink bottles
onto the UV ink bottle bracket on the side of the
printer and insert the waste ink pipe into waste ink
bottle .
Notes:
1. Please feed the different color uv ink corresponding the color bottle .
2. Since uv white ink is very easy blocked,so please shake the white ink bottle everyday before using.
3. If you do not use the uv printer more than one week, please use the cleaning linquid to cleaning the printhead .
4. You can use both Y,K,M,C,LM,LC and Y,K,M,C,W,W ink type. If you use Y,K,M,C,W,W ink type, please put the W,W into the
LM, LC place.
Chapter 4 The preparation work before printing

4.1 The machine self-checking
The control panel is on the front of the machine .The power jacket is on the back of the machine . Please refer to
following pictures .
Please pull the platform to the front position completely , then open the general power of the machine ,and then open
the power of the printer , the printer will be in self-checking process. When do self-checking process, the printer power
button will be green flash, print head will move right and left .After self-checking ,the printer power button will keep in
long green light state . When the printer power button is in long green light state , the machine is in normal state
(Sometimes if both the ink button and paper button is flash , please do not worry.It is normal situation .please close the
power of printer and open the power again )
The process of open the machine as following.
The platform will stay in Open the power of the printer, the printer will do
Open the power of the the self-checking ,the indicator will green flash .
the front completely After finishing self-checking, the indicator will be
machine long green light state.
Note:
Please do machine self-checking before it start working every day .
4.2 Install the printer driver

Put the CD driver on the computer, and install it according to the hints. Use USB cable to connect computer and printer,
the computer will identify the printer automatically. The computer will install the printer driver automatically and prompt
"new hardware is ready to use"; at this time, the printer driver is installed well .
If the computer can not install the driver automatically , please install the driver which will match with your computer
system such as your computer is Win7 32 bit system , then you will chose the driver which compatible with Win7 32
bit . if not , the driver wont install it successfully .

Note: if the printer driver that we give that you cant be installed successfully, you can to download it from epson
website:www..epson.com or you contact us freely.
4.3 Fill ink into machine

When use the printer in the first time, we need to do print head ink transmit .There is two methods .Please
check it as following.
4.3.1 Method One : do power cleaning for head ink transmit as following.
Open printer in your computer. Press CTRL+P to choose Epson L800 printerclick attribute ,choose
Maintenance in attribute . Click Print head cleaning ,Choose power cleaning in Maintenance
Click head cleaning
Choose Power cleaning Click Start
Do the print head cleaning 1-2 times , the ink will
be sucked to tube automatically
When do the head cleaning, the ink flow into the
tube quickly as well as observe whether it has
waste ink flow into the waste ink bottle .
After the progress bar is refilled the full
color , the head cleaning task finished
Note : The printer should be done the power cleaning only under the following situation :
A. The first time to fill the ink for the machine , you can do the power cleaning for making the ink flow into the print head and
tube quickly.
B. When the print head clog seriously , you can do the power cleaning .
4.3.2 Method two : print head ink transmitting from the waste ink pipe.
Generally speaking , when you finished the print head cleaning , the ink will flow into the print head completely . If not ,you can
try the following method to transmit ink into the print head easily.
1. Transmit the ink by syringe without needle as following.
2.use syringe to suction ink from

1.take out the waste ink pipe the waste ink pipe .when there is
from the waste ink bottle . around 30ml ink in the
syringe ,please put the waste
ink pipe back to waste ink bottle .
2.After suction ink with syringe, we should do head cleaning 1-2 times to feed the print head with ink.
4.3.3 Method three: print head ink transmitting from ink sac.
Generally speaking , when you finished the power cleaning , the ink will flow into the ink sac completely . If
not ,you can try the following method to transmit ink into the ink sac easily .Before doing method two,please
make sure the following.
AIf the printer is already turn on, please turn off the power switch firstly.
BTurn on the total power when the print head cartridge dont move.
CTurn off the total power immediately while the print head cartridge move out from the side. .
DAt this time, the print head cartridge is not lock, you can easily move it back and forth
by hand
Now lets start method two as following.
1Transmit the ink by hand with syringe as following.
Use syringe to suction ink as picture, the ink sac is full

Ink sac is inserted on the shower of the head, when you can see the ink in syringe , then insert the ink
draw it up ,you can take it out. sac back
2.after suction ink to the ink sac, we should do head cleaning 1- 2 times to feed the print head with ink.
4.4 Do the nozzle checking

We should print the nozzle check page to test whether the machine is ok.
1 ) Put one piece A4 paper on the right and front position of the platform , adjust the height of the platform by the knob, then
push the platform to the rear position.
Notes:
1.please make sure the printed product on the platform is very nearly to the limit board, around 2mm ,which means just can
pass it,dont let the printed product touch the limit board.
2.Please make sure the platform is located in the rear position before printing .Tthe Platform work from behind, it will stop in the
front position after finish printing.
2 ) Press CTRL+P to choose Epson L800 printerclick attribute ,choose Maintenance in attribute . Click Nozzle check and
click print in Maintenance
Click Nozzle Check Click Print
3) To compare the printed nozzle checking line and the nozzle line in your computer as following picture
Print the nozzle checking line, if

every color line is complete, that
means you can print the picture
normally.
If the nozzle checking lines have broken

line, please check the CISS whether it is
installed correctly ,to check each color
tube whether pump the full ink ,to check
whether it has too much air in the
tube ,after that , do the print head
cleaning again until the line can print
completely .
Note: When the machine can be used normally, but there is broken nozzle checking line, please do the head
cleaning, do not need to use power cleaning to clean it .
Chapter 5 The detail process of the media printing via RIP software
The Acro RIP software is convenient to adjust the printing position as well as it can adjust its printing ink volume according with
customers request. It is very simply operation.
The RIP is included by two parts, one is RIP driver (CD), the other is software dog(USB) .
Due to this software is a direct drive and modify printer system core program, some security software and anti-virus software w
ill protect the core program of software make the software can not be installed , so we need turn off the safety procedures and
anti-virus program before installing the software .This Acro RIP 8.2 can be used for in windows XP, 2000,vista and windows 7,
windows8,windows 10.
Following it is the process of operation.
Step1. Install the driver of the RIP software (It will have the driver for RIP in our CD or we can send its driver via email ) or
we can give you one video reference
Step2 after finishing the installation, you can see two icons .
Please kindly differ these two icons as following.
is used for light color product printing with M,Y,K,C,LM,LC ink type..
is used for dark color product printing with M,Y,K,C,W,W ink type..
Step3. Insert the RIP software dog ,then open the icon or in your desktop .
Following we will use for details setting.

Step 4 Click file and then choice open to put the picture to the RIP software,and click the icon in
,appear following.

used now, and the status display "printer ready"
ink resolution should be set more than 1440*
1440 DPI
If bidirectional printing is blurry, you can change
to Unidirection
Check Paper size : OFF

Step5 Click the icon in the right of bottom , click , it will display following:
INK Chnnel:
If there is white ink in the CISS, or there just have
Y M C K, no other inks, you must choose the color
pattern for Y K W W M C
Ink Limit is allowed to adjust by
yourself ,usually 50% is the same effect as without
software
If you find the print design of a single color
slants deep or shallow, you can set up in a single
color area
Step6 Click the icon in the right of botton ,click

Paper Sizemean the printer size , please set as

the red circle
Output Position refers to the print position that
the material printed on the platform, please remember
the width and height of printing ,we will make this as
origin of coordinates
Output Sizerefers to the output frame size of the
photo, we can make the input size big when
printing the location map , so that we can fix the
materials vertical
Copiescan be set according to your needing
ScaleTUR mean you can adjust the picture by its true
scale, the picture is harmonious, if you choose FALSE, you
can change the width and the height by yourself, but the
picture will broaden and lengthen
Following is we Take 5S Phone case as one example
Output Position
X (Width) it will be always 3
Y (Height) it will be always 2
(The number will be always keep the same with the number
when you print the border line
Output Position:
5S width will be 6 and the height is 12.6
Step 7 Because there is a distance between the UV light and the print head, the movement scope of the
print head working is limited to whole printed scope .This will cause the images between this distance can
not be UV light irradiation ,Which means can not be curing . So we must artificially expand the scope of print head
movement .We need draw a vertical bar near the picture left side 3cm, do as the following picture (the
operating sequence from 1 to 7)

Step 8 : Click the icon in the right of bottom ,click
White Layer Generation , pls choose it according
with your request
View the white layer , the picture will black during
the area which will print the white ink
Step 9 : After the picture setup well, adjust the height of the platform ( it will be the suitable height which the platform does not touch
the limited bar , keep about 2MM during the print head and platform ) , then pull the platform to the rear of the machine completely
Step 10: After above steps finished , pls click icon ,click , it will show following
picture
After the pop-up printing box, if

you print dark material, please set
print number 1 in White Setting
set print number 0 in Color
Setting ,then click
, after finished 1
time white ink print, you can do the
same settings if you want to print 2
time white ink
Step 11: after white ink task finished, you can print color ink ,as followings

number 0 in White Setting, and set
print number 1 in Color Setting, then
click ,
if you print light material, please skip to
step 4 and 5, directly to step 6 operation
Step 12 After click the print in the computer , the print head will start to print and the platform will move to front automatically , the
power of the printer button will green and flash , finished the printing task , the platform will stop in the front completely , the power
of printer will be keep green light .
Note:if you want to print emboss effect picture, you can set the parameter as following suggest :
smooth effect,no striping on the picture
DPI 2880*1440,ink amount 40% color is a litter light
smooth effect,a little striping on the picture
DPI is 2880*1440 ink amount 50% color is good
smooth effect, no striping on the picture
DPI 2880*2880 ,ink amount 50%color is good
emboss effect:
Note: High DPI, print picture is more good, less striping.
DPI is 2880*1440 ink amount 80% color is dark
High DPI need increase the ink amount.
If customer need the whole picture print white ink uniform, you can set a pure color picture.
Hollowed-out picture can realize the emboss effect more easily than the full color picture.
Chapter 6 Notable Matters and Common Problems

1.UV printer can print almost everything except T-shirt,you need do pre-coating first when print glass,metal etc.
2.After the machine use a while, you find the picture is not good, please print nozzle check and do head cleaning.
3.Ink bottle must on the position we appointed .too high or low position is not good ,it Will cause high pressure.the level of
the ink must lower than the print head,otherwise the ink will leak out from the print head.
the waste ink bottle should be checked at fixed period .
4.Special attention matters when printing
A.Make sure the platform is located in the rear position before printing each time , let the machine be ready for printing.
B.When the platform is in using process, do not drag, otherwise, it will can't normally print.
C.The printer finish printing when there is no printing , then you can take out the material
D.Make sure the flat surface of the print tray dont touch the Limit board
5.Every time we only can release one print command, if the machine dont print correctly, you need to cancel the print
task and release the new print command.
6.Adjust the height of the platform.
Different material has different thickness, we should adjust the height of the platform via the height adjustment knob.The best
print quality is that the distance between the material and the head is 2mm, must avoid too high, otherwise it will damage print
head ,not less than 3mm,too low position will affect the image. We had helped you do the limited board before we send the
cargo out. It is the best height to be printed objects from the nozzle, when the print tray just can pass the limit board
7.You had better add sewing machine oil on the track that the print head move back and forth,in order to reduce
resistance,otherwise it will happen flash red when start the machine ;Whats more,we should add oil on the track that the print
tray go through, if the track resistance is big,the tray will not move, it will affect the print precision too.
8.Because the white ink is easy to precipitate, it is best for customer to shake the white ink for several minutes before using the
machine everyday.If you dont use the machine for a long time ,please shake the white ink for several minutes and suction the
white ink from the ink sac again(the way please see Suction Ink),the ink that suction out can put back into the bottle and
continue use,after suction the ink ,you should do head cleaning again.
9.The UV ink will curing when come across the UV-light, so please dont lay the machine on the place where can be shined.
10.Attention of choosing picture.
A.No matter the pictures from the Internet or the customer offer, you must determine the clarity of the picture,poor clarity will
cause poor print quality. Generally speaking, we should provide more than 300dpi to get good quality .
B.When we need to print pictures, it is best for us to design the picture the same size as material printed by PhotoShop (or AI),
please dont directly modify the size in the AcroRIP, otherwise the picture will widen or lengthen, the picture will be
disproportionately.
C.disproportionately you can study the PS on networkStudy website:http://www.duote.com/tech/photoshop/
NOTE: you just need do the strong cleaning in the following cases:
1).you can do strong cleaning when first time to use the machine , so that you can suction the ink to the pipe and print Head fast.
2).when the print head is a little clogging,you can do strong cleaning.

11.Check the water cooling pump regularly: UV LED is cooled by the water,please check whether there is water is full every
month.
12.Ink reset . when the Ink light keep flash and computer reminds that there will be no ink,we need do ink reset.Please kindly
note it is no relation with the actual ink amount, just have relation with chip count capacity,We can do ink reset when the Ink
light flash advanced, also can do it when the light in long red state .All types of printer need to do ink reset on the market, it is
not the machines problem, please dont worry.Please use the ink reset software for ink reset.
13.Waste ink reset. when the Ink light and paper light flash one after one. we need do waste ink reset by software.
Chapter 7 The Machine warranty and specification

1. Due to the machine in the application must use a special ink, for print head only guarantee good condition When buying,After
using the ink ,the nozzle blocking, pumps and accessories get corrosive , or the main board burned when cleaning nozzle in a
wrong way, they are not within the scope of free warranty.
2.We provide one year warranty for all the electronic parts including the main board, driver board, control board, motor, etc.
(Except for the man-made factors) But there is no warranty for wearing parts like ink pump, print head, and CISS since they are
consumables.
3.After receiving the goods ,please read the user manual carefully ( so that you are familiar with the product parts name ) then
we can communicate more easily when you come across problems.
4.If you do not know some details or you have some problems, please contact with us in time , do not dismantle the machine by
yourself . if you dismantle it before contact with us , you will bear the risk of dismantle the machine.
