During this field experience, I was able to implement my host school's culture in the classroom. By the

end
of the first week, I became comfortable with the school's culture and policies, so much so that I found

myself reminding students both inside, and outside the classroom of these polices. As it is my first field
experience,

I was not able to carry out any lessons individually, but I was able to support students while

they were doing their work. I was able to answer questions, offer my support, and guide students'

learning.

I was able to collaborate with my colleague in creating personal notes to our students before we finished

our field experience. This became a project, as we had created notes for all the students, as well as our

cooperating teacher, and support staff member. I had also developed this competency through the
discussions

that I had with my cooperating teacher on lesson ideas. We discussed topics and themes

we could introduce to the class, as well as ways to make the lessons more engaging.

Through the discussions with my field supervisor, as well as a short discussion with our host school's

principal,
I was able to develop professionally, as I learned new pedagogical practices. During these

discussions, we had discussed classroom management skills. Using these newly learned practice, I was
