    Respected Sir,

    I wish to offer myself for being one of the attendees at Petrotech 2016 Youth Forum, a part of 12th
    International Oil and Gas Exhibition, which is being held at New Delhi during 5-7th December 2016.

    I am among the 3% students of my department who are pursuing an Honors in the Major Course in
    Petroleum Engineering along with a minor course in Financial Management. I am the 2nd topper in my
    Major Course among 120 students and one of the toppers in Financial Management. My choice of the
    stream of minor was inspired by my fear of it, which I have successfully overcome in the past one year. I
    have pursued internships with Cairn Energy Limited, Gurgaon and Mansarovar Energy Colombia Ltd.,
    Colombia and delivered excellent performance. I have also co-authored a paper in the journal of Energy &
    Fuels (Impact factor - 2.833), which requires excellent research and analytical skills.

    I have ensured my holistic development not only through academic excellence but also through brilliance in
    diverse extracurricular activities. I have a blog of my own and have also pursued freelancing with several
    online media agencies, especially the ones advocating Women Empowerment. I have served Petrotech ISM
    Student Chapter as an efficient team member in the past. I was one of the writer and editor of the first
    magazine of the chapter, PetrotISM 1.0. I have also organized several events as a part of the society.

    I believe that I am suitable to be one of the students to represent the Department at an international level, not
    only because of my exemplary academics and extracurricular activities but also to showcase that girls of
    high caliber, as that of me, working in this industry are no less important even if they are less in number.
