Comments (Attach additional pages as needed)
My comprehensive comments concerning this class are listed in a separate document. As mentioned in
that document, Dr. Garrido-Nag clearly demonstrates a mastery of the material which is reflected in the
knowledge she displayed in the lecture I observed and the manner in which the material was taught.
For this particular class, Dr. Garrido-Nag established a continuous mechanism (i.e., focusing on two case
studies) over a period of classes whereby students learned the foundational principles as to how to
approach working with a client. Instructional materials as well as real-life case studies were used to
connect key concepts to how they might actually be used in real-life situations.
Dr. Garrido-Nag displays a genuine and engaging demeanor, one in which students can feel comfortable
in posing questions and participating in class discussions in a safe/secure atmosphere. The only
suggestion I have is that when there are many bulleted items on a slide, that they be brought up one at
a time to make it easier to focus ones attention.
