To Whom it May Concern,

I am very excited to recommend Emma Hughes. I was Emmas badminton coach for
two years and she was my TA, teaching assistant for one. In total have the great
pleasure of working with her for almost three years at Windsor High School.

Emma was my teaching assistant when she was only a Freshman and she still stands
out an one of the strongest Ive had. Emma easily took on tasks like grading tests,
organizing groups, cleaning and supervising large groups of students. The class Emma
was a teaching assistant for was one of the largest I have had, Emma made that
easier. She helped with a range of activities and could be trusted to communicate
instructions to students and communicate with me about their progress. Emma also
showed me her creativity that semester by helping design a mobile teaching desk for
me that holds all my teaching supplies. As a physical education instructor everything
has to be mobile, my projector, class supplies, sports equipment and medical bag.
Emma designed and made the plans for mobile teaching desk that was then built.
Emma was an asset and made a difference for me as a teacher that year.

Badminton is a unique high school sport, students with all ranges of abilities and levels
of commitment come out for the team. Emma is a student-athlete who not only has a
talent for the sport but a high level of commitment and leadership ability. She has
maintained a high GPA while competing on our varsity team and playing soccer year
round.

One thing that has really impressed me about Emma is that she came to badminton
after years of competitive soccer and other sports, her physical ability and competitive
attitude instantly helped her excel. What impressed me however was her attitude,
badminton is an unusual sport and some traditional athletes wont give it a chance.
Emma was a strong addition to our team, she worked hard on her skills and worked
with her peers to make her teammates better. and I have no doubt that this will
continue at any university that she chooses to attend or job she accepts.

Sincerely yours,

Nicole M. Graydon
