PERSHING COUNTY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

MEETING
FEBRUARY 23, 2016
5:00PM @ ESPINOZA BOOKKEEPING

The meeting was called to order by President, Lynn Christofferson.

Members attending the meeting were Geri Atkinson, Lynn Christofferson, Jim Rowe,
Joan Duncan and Mackenzie Hodges.

Lynn called Rachel Leavitt on her phone.

Joan provided the by laws and the constitution to the group and it was said that the by
laws could be changed or amended at the banquet.

Graduation is June 4th and the Alumni Ball is June 11th

Mackenzie read the bids for the food for the alumni banquet from Lovelock Food Mart
and Cowpoke Caf. Jim Rowe made a motion to accept the bid from Lovelock Food Mart
and Geri seconded the motion @ $23.49/plate.

Geri brought up the fact that Kinkos is so expensive for printing the invitations and a few
options for alternative printing were pitched to the group.

Rachael updated the website and requested that everyone look at it and make corrections
and give suggestions.

Jim Rowe said he would ask the Lions Club if they would be interested in doing the
pancake breakfast on the morning of June 11th.

Discuss semi-formal attire for the banquet at the March meeting.

Lynn and Mackenzie will get letters together to accept the bid from Lovelock Food Mart.

Everyone was asked to be thinking of names to nominate as next years officers at the
banquet.

The question was raised as to where the plaque for lifetime members might be located.

The next meetings will be March 29th, April 26th, May 24th @ 5:00pm @ Espinoza
Bookkeeping. Any member not being able to attend should call and we will put you on
speaker phone.
