INTRODUCTION Kariavattom, Trivandrum. As a part of
our B.Ed, curriculum we were decided to
create a documentary on importance of
Mangrove forests.
Mangroves are rich in biodiversity
and are the protective covering of the
nature. We are all unaware of the
importance of biodiversity of mangroves.
So we were (RAMYA, ALINA AND BEENA
MOL) decided to conduct journey
through the mangroves at Poovar,
Trivandrum.
Due to various human intervention
deterioration of biodiversity of
mangroves are increasing day by day. It
will leads to ecological imbalance. It is
important to protect the biodiversity of
mangroves for the sustenance of
biodiversity of ecosystems on the earth.
