For this lesson, my students will be creating a timeline based on the events of WWI.
This activity will be used for an assessment over WWI to check for understanding of
the events that took place during the time period. They will use their knowledge
gained in previous lessons to complete the timeline.

For this learning activity, the students will start creating their timeline with the
assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Next, they will implement on their
timeline which nations declared war on each other. Then, the students will finish the
timeline with the Treaty of Versailles that ended WWI.
