SPECIAL CONDITIONS

1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

With reference to Article 1.0 DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION of the General
Conditions add the following definitions:
1.1. All AGIP specifications that form a part of the TENDER Document or are
referenced therein are to be considered, for the purposes of this CONTRACT to
be NAOC specifications.
1.2. Company Purchase Order means the agreement between the supplier
(vendor) and COMPANY for the supply of materials and/or Equipment for the
PIPELINE as listed in Appendix D hereto, to be assigned to CONTRACTOR.
1.3. Company Direct Order means the agreement between COMPANY and the
supplier (vendor) for the supply of materials and/or equipment to be provided
directly by COMPANY.
1.4. COMMENCEMENT DATE means the date of issue of the Notice to Proceed.
1.5. NOTICE TO PROCEED means the Notice served by the COMPANY under the
Contract instructing the Contractor to proceed with the WORK. The COMPANY
shall not issue "Notice to Proceed" until the CONTRACTOR possesses and is
able to access to the SITE/Right of Way without any impediment, hindrance and
interruption.
1.6. PROVISIONAL ACCEPTANCE shall mean the time when COMPANY has
accepted and approved the whole of the WORKS as being completed in
accordance with the CONTRACT.
1.7. The term provisional acceptance of the work shall replace the term acceptance
of the work wherever it appears throughout the CONTRACT.
1.8. Unless clearly stated to the contrary, any statement to the effect that
CONTRACTOR will furnish or supply materials means that CONTRACTOR, at
CONTRACTORS sole cost and expense shall be responsible for the purchase of
such materials and transportation to the job SITE or other location specified.
1.9. TENDERERS and CONTRACTORS are interchangeable as maybe required.

1.11 GOODS shall means line pipes and other materials to be procured or free issued for
the WORK
