WithfamilypackHandhigher,kitsandmodelscanbedropshipped.

B.AllDropShipitemsmustbedefinedintheorganizationenteredintheprofileoptionOE:ItemValidationOrganization.

C.Theitemmustbedefinedtohavedirectreceipt.

Setup>ItemsMasterReceivingregion.The'ReceiptRouting'fieldmustbesetto'Direct'.

D.InfamilypackHorhigher,ifyouwanttodropshipamodel,youmustdefinetheitemasshippable.

InR11i,itisnolongernecessarytodefinealocationinPurchasingforeachcustomershiptowhichwillbeusedforreceiving
dropshipments.
ThissetupwasnecessaryinR11.PurchasingnowusesaviewoftheHRandHZtablestogettheinformation.

3.Workflow

TheLineFlowGenericworkflowwillhandledropshiplines.Itcallsthe'CreateSupplyLine'process.
Thisprocesshasafunctioncalled'BranchonSourceType'whichwilldetectanitemwithaSourceTypeof'External'andset
thelinetoa'PurchaseReleaseDeferred'status.
ThenwhentheWorkflowBackgroundprocessorpicksuptheline,itwillinitiatethePurchaseReleaseprocesstowritethe
recordstothePO_REQUISITIONS_INTERFACEtable.
WhenRequisitionimportprogramisruntherecordswillbepulledintoPurchasingtocreatetherequisition.
