Welcome to Epicor University! We congratulate you on your decision to join Epicors efforts to provide excellence and
results in orientation, education, and development of Epicor customers, partners, and employees. We hope you are
excited about the depth of career-training opportunities available within Epicor University. These opportunities are
defined using roadmaps that provide education and career paths for anyone from new hires to principal consultants.
Use the diagram below to review the sequence of sections included in the Consultant Roadmap. Each section is
explained in detail in the following pages of this Roadmap guide. You can use this guide as a checklist as you begin
your education journey within Epicor University.
Epicor Onboarding
The first step in your journey of being a new employee includes completing the Epicor Onboarding process. The
Onboarding process includes reviewing the Startup Packet and completing other introductory company and
department training. After completing a task, use the check box in the right column to mark the task as complete.
Make sure you complete the entire Epicor Onboarding process before continuing to the next section.
After finishing the courses, you must complete the Foundations exam on Epicor Learning. This prerequisite exam
references content covered in the prerequisite courses listed below. Certification exams typically take 30-60 minutes to
complete.
Level 1 Certification
After completing the Prerequisite courses, you are ready for Level 1 certification which is divided into four tracks:
Financial, Manufacturing & Distribution, Tools, and Technical (Americas Partners only). Your manager will help you
determine which track to complete.
Live training, either in the classroom or virtually, is required when the Delivery Method says Live Training (virtual or
classroom). After finishing each of the courses, complete the corresponding certification exams. Certification exams
typically take 30-60 minutes to complete.
In addition to product and skills education, your manager will assist you with mentoring and shadowing opportunities.
Completion of certification for a level does not guarantee promotion to that level. Work with your manager to discuss
pursuing a career path to the next level.
You must complete courses in your determined track before taking this
course.
