Beginning the Lesson
3 Introduction/ My name is Nabin Duthraj. Map of Nepal.
Minutes I am from Gorkha, western part of Nepal, 150 KM far from the capital city Kathmandu.
Gorkha is famous for tourism. There are beautiful mountains and king palace. The
majority religion in Nepal is Hindu, Buddhists, and Christian.
Tell students that I am going to tell my testimony of faith.
Pray before jump into testimony.

10 Developing the Lesson

Minutes My father was a Hindu priest, he read all Hindus religious book (Ramayan, Sostani,
Mahavarat, Gita etc.) People all over the village used come to my father to listen his
preaching.
My father had power to heal people by praying to Hindus God, just like witchdoctor.
He had real passion to seek God but the route he followed was wrong.
Every morning he used to woke up at 4 oclock and used take shower even in the winter
season.
He could not eat anything touched by other people excluding my mother because there
was a trait that eating food touched by others is not pure and not holy.
He was so devoted to god, so he used to fast every day and used to take only one meal in
a day.
He became weaker and weaker because of the fasting.
He got stomach problem and he did everything that he could do to be heal. He Spent all
of his money that he had but he didnt get healed. My family gave up.
However, our relative Christian sister came to my father and shared the good news of the
gospel about God Jesus Christ.
Then she started to pray for my father. She keeps praying for my father always.
My father also started to believe in Christ but my family didnt believe that my father
would be heal but believing in Christ became the last option for my father and family.
Sister the one who shared about Jesus Christ used to come in my house to pray for my

father. When my father continuously prays, there was miracle happen.

God hears that prayer and God responded to my father by healing day by day but my
family was still Hindu because they just want my father alive.
Later on, my father healed completely because of my fathers prayer and faith in Christ
and then my family also became Christian.
Villager started to reject and hate my family.
But praise the Lord, the villager also became Christian because they were led by evil
spirit and they came to my house to receive healing prayer from my father.

2 Closing the Lesson

Minute You as a student may have problems but God is greater than your problem.
Everything is possible in God, so we have to truly believe in God.
James 1:5 (If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives
generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.) NIV
We need to pray for ourselves and pray for our friends.
Pair up and share your prayer requests and pray for each other. Pray for your
study, ask wisdom, knowledge, and blessing from God.
End devotion with prayer.
