I.INTRODUCTION
A. Laguna de Bay is the freshwater source and the domestic and industrial wastewater
dumpsite for more than 26 million people.
B. The rapid accumulation of pollutants in the Lake increases the rate of eutrophication
or death of the lake.
C. This video report aims to determine the amount of nutrient and pollutant
accumulation, its effects on the lake sustainability, and the steps done by the authority to
mitigate these effects

D. It could be observed from the data that if the way the Laguna Lake is used

III. CONCLUSION
A. The Laguna lake, the largest freshwater body in the Philippines is in danger of
death due to excessive nutrient loading and high pollutant load from different
types of sources.
B. As seen in the data, if these trends continue, the Lake would not be able to
sustain life after a certain amount of time.
C. The different programs of the LLDA should be fully supported by Filipinos and
Philippine-based industries in order to preserve the quality of the lake.
