Getmyicphonelogs.zip file is available on the Enterprise Business Portal next to the software to help
Business Partners to proceed. This file contains:
- readme.txt file
- getmyicphonelogs.txt file
In order to help pass through the security checks like anti-virus, getmyicphonelogs file has been zipped.
After download, unzip it and rename getmyicphonelogs.txt file in getmyicphonelogs.sh.
This script collects information and logs on 8088 Smart DeskPhone. More information is available in
readme.txt file.
Note 1 Upgrade is done in background. The time of unavailability is reduced to the reboot time, which is around 1
minute.
Note 2 If the binary flash version is 1.007.2 (which is the case for the sets manufactured before September 2015),
then the set cannot be used as is and must be upgraded to an official binary version available on the
Enterprise Business Portal.
Warning With OpenTouch ecosystem, starting OT R2.1.1, all ALE hardphones must contain the fix for Poodle
vulnerability and support SHA-2 certificates (see TC2027 and SA0053).
Therefore, before deploying phone sets on OpenTouch R2.1.1 or before upgrading OpenTouch to R2.1.1
release, the sets must contain a version compatible with SHA-2 certificates and Poodle vulnerability.
For 8088 Smart DeskPhone set, it means that it must be upgraded to R100 1.008.2 version minimum before
being deployed on OpenTouch R2.1.1 or before the migration of OpenTouch to R2.1.1 release.
To proceed, the administrator can either use OpenTouch still in R2.1 release, or use ALEDS tool
(downloadable from the Business Portal).
Note that the terminals manufactured starting September 2015 do contain a flash version compatible with
Poodle vulnerability.
Note Now R200 release is a maintenance release for R100. Please see TC2181.
