Ricky Bakers supposed to be a

gangster, but Bella and Hec changed all of that. In Hunt for The Wilder People Ricky shows
how hes a dynamic character because he becomes brave,confident, and caring.
Ricky becomes brave. At the beginning, Ricky wouldve never done the things he ended
up doing in the end, like killing a boar. He tried to run away from home and ended up meeting a
boar and Bella had to save him from the boar. Ricky and Hector ran into a boar, but he did not
run from the boar. He later killed one to save Hector, which shows bravery because in the Ricky
would never have done that in the start. Not only did Ricky become brave but he also becomes
confident.
In addition, Ricky becomes confident. For instance, in the beginning Bella was happy to
tell him to go kill a pig, now, Ricky wasnt excited about that like at all, I mean it was a live pig.
In the movie he ends up killing one and he did it easily to survive. Ricky never really thought
about killing or how it feels like to have to kill to get your next meal but in the end thats what
gave him confidence. When Ricky became confident he also became very caring.
Well, Ricky becomes caring. For example, Ricky didnt grow up with his biological
parents, so that meant that he had to be in the system his whole life, which caused him to not
really care. When Ricky was brought to Bella and Hectors, he thought it was going to be the
way its been his life and he wont care, but he ended caring for Bella and Hector. When Bella
died, Ricky was very devastated which shows how much he cared.
Actions speak louder than words. In conclusion, Ricky is a dynamic character in Hunt for
