Responsibilities:

Undertake overview supervision duties on site to ensure general compliance of the works with
specification and contract requirements and when necessary cause to address deficiencies associated
with the same.
Coordinate all aspects of submittals, review and approvals against contract requirements and when
applicable report and advice on deviations from the same.
Coordinate as and when with client on all specialists participation related to the final acceptance of the
works in readiness for fit-out and operation of the project.
Assist client in all aspects of the final acceptance of the work and close-out of all applicable contracts
related to the same.
Coordinate with the team on site to ensure that contractual obligations are met.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Resident Engineer, familiarise themselves with the approved shop drawings,
materials, method statements in order that they may monitor the Contractors works effectively.

Attend final installation inspections in accordance with agreed ITP's,

Inspect materials delivered to site.

Prepare NCR's to the Resident Engineer for evaluation and onward issue to the Contractor.

Responsible for compiling and providing SOR (Site Observation Report) on a weekly basis.

Responsible for providing AFR (Architect Field Report) and SOR (Site Observation Report) from
the inspectors on a weekly basis.

Produce snag lists for each stage and area of work.

Review of As Built Drawings as required.

Qualifications and Experience:


The candidate must have 5 years' experience with 3 in GCC involved in architectural site
inspections in building projects.

Responsibilities Assume responsibility of Architectural works in the project and certify on completion the
installation. Monitor performance of the Contractor I Sub-contractor and identify, raise any quality issue
or workmanship concerns with the SQE I PM/SRE/RE. Review quality procedures and effectively
implement QNQC plans across the project. Identify any particular site safety issues and bring to the
notice of the contractor /SHSEE I PM/RE. Mentor the discipline staff on any advancement of process,

Job Description: - Architectural Inspector


We require an Architectural Inspector to review and comment on contractor
submittals, resolve technical issues arising and ensure compliance with contract
requirement and all Architectural work inspection.
Inspect buildings during and after construction for architectural quality, general
safety and conformance to specifications and codes.
Maintain daily logs and supplement inspection records with photographs.
Review and interpret plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications, and construction
methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations.
Inspect and monitor construction sites to ensure adherence to safety standards,
building codes, and specifications.
Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures and
architectural fixtures to ensure compliance to building plans and codes.
Issue violation notices and stop-work orders, conferring with owners, violators, and
authorities to explain regulations and recommend rectifications.
Carry out inspection of works in progress at Site.
Assist with the review and approval of contractor submittals, resolve technical issues
arising and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications and approved shop
drawings.
Assist Site Resident Engineer/Site Architects with review of shop drawing and
material submittals
Monitor and report contractor progress and all activities on site.
